Ok, so I am a bit bored at the moment. I was looking at my collection of mods, and decided that the most comfortable ones in my hand, when used a lot during the day, are: iStick 30W - Just about perfect, especially with the gel sleeve. VTR2 15W - Just about perfect with the rounded side in my palm, even with its weight. The others are: MVP2 11W - comfy but the bottom corners can feel a bit sharp on my palm. MVP3 Pro. 60W - same as above, but slightly less so since it is a bit longer. Coolfire IV 40W - comfortable, but I find the shape of the sharp raised fire button a bit irksome. Cloupor Mini 30W - near enough as comfortable as the iStick, but without a gel sleeve, the battery cover movement a little bit annoying. I don't have a sleeve for it yet, and I assume it would remove the feel of the slight battery door movement and would feel better. Those are my winners in comfort in my hands, which are a bit small, so that will make a difference. But judged on build, ease of use, screens legibility of information and possibly longevity of use etc., then the order would be completely different. Is it just me, or do others here find some mods (be it box or tubular) much more comfortable to use, and in the hand ? Ok, I will leave you in peace now.

Good thread idea Mine are..... B-Box despite its weight and sharp corners I love it Mini VF so comfy to hold, great design shape, light and very portable Smowell DPV50 again lovely to hold and hasn't missed a beat ! Cloupor mini only a little use only if I haven't got a shirt pocket, it fits in my jeans without looking like I've got a weird willy extension !

"Cloupor mini only a little use only if I haven't got a shirt pocket, it fits in my jeans without looking like I've got a weird willy extension !" Am I doing it wrong then ? Using the Cloupor Mine atm, as it hasn't had much use since I got it. Just about the same size as the iStick, which I find is just that little bit more comfy with its rounded ends. I must get a sleeve for it, as that wiggly battery cover is just a little annoying....to me.

Best mod in the hand has to be the Egripe.

Most comfortable in my collection is the ipv mini 2, feels really nice. I've got a Kangxin vaporflask on the way though and that will be really njice in the hand.

Most comfortable for me would be IPV mini and smowell. But probably my most used mod would be MVP 3 as the information screen is large and I can read it without reaching for my glasses which is a problem, coz I never know where they are.

Agreed. That screen on the MVP3 is very nice, and the display is nicely clear and bright, and is actually bigger than it looks when it is not lit. I find it very easy to read, unlike the little iStick, Coolfire IV and Cloupor where without glasses I have to squint to try and read the screen. I guess that is me being a bit fussy, because once I have the watts (or volts) set, (and the numbers are big enough to read) I don't really need to look at the screen again, until I need to re-adjust it or look at the battery indicator. But, even though the MVP3 is lovely and bright, I cannot read it when it is in direct sunlight, but just holding it in my shadow a bit, then I can read it. I tried it out just to see if I could read the screen when the sun was shining on it. All very technical stuff y'know.

Most comfortable is still a nemesis, sorry box mod lovers. Yet, the smowell 50W doesn't feel too bad.

For out and out comfort, I agree that a tubular mech mod like my trusty old Caravela is by far the best. I like my Smok M65 but it's still being temperamental so I'm down to my 2 x MVP3s, one a Pro. They are larger, and I agree the corners can be rough in your palm after driving with it in my fist, but they feel good a solid, and the button's just in the right place for my hand size.

I tend to take the -stick 50 or the Smowell out with me as they are really comfortable, the I stick has a sleeve on it so it doesn't slide around. if I'm only out for an hour or so I take the Ego 1 mini (850mah and really tiny but Excellent to use).

At work I find the iStick 30, Smowell DPV50, or Clouper Mini 30 the most comfortable. The Smowell has the nicest form factor, but you have to keep checking the screen, as there is no button lock, and it self adjusts/fires in a pocket. They are all so easy to hold without worry of dropping because of the size. However, a Gizmo feels a lot nicer to hold, but I won't take it to work. It is small and comfy, and has no screen to squint at!!!

Although I now have some nice, new and shiny mods, I still favour the (over a year) old and trusty VTR2 with the iClear 30S (just a very neat package), and quite happy to take it with me into Town to the supermarket or some other place designed to remove money from my overdraft. Ok, the performance may not be quite so good as any of the newer mods/tanks I have, but I have come to view the VTR as a trusty friend, which although a bit weighty, I just like it. Perhaps it is because it was my first mod, so I have a sort of fondness for it............a bit like my first real girlfriend I guess, although she is long gone, but my VTR isn't. I guess I am a bit weird.

Glad I am not the only one for a bit of fondness for a certain mod, even if it is not the most powerful, light, adjustable etc. as my new ones are. I also have a bit of fondness for my MVP2, the 2nd mod I received, which looks even better now that igual repaired/replaced the 510 connection, which he repaired when the pin came loose making the thing U/S. As you say, reliable friends.
