Having read the report, Dr F response and after a lot of digging on the net,library and speaking to sister whom has a pharmacology degree in my opinion I'm not concerned overly.
Yes minimising risks is good but relative to smoking,industrial, environmental exposure etc tbh its a drop in the ocean.

I would like to see other liquids tested so we can make an informed decision.

Swapping one thing that causes health problems for another that also causes problems to your health, bloody marvelous stuff, super smashing brilliant stuff, ffs.

The science of vaping and vaping safety is still evolving. Where known risks are identified, such as Acetoin Isopropyl, Diacetyl [which is a chemical used in the food industry to give a buttery or creamy flavour and is believed to cause popcorn lung (bronchiolitis obliterans)], lipid containing oils or anything else that is known to be a potential harm then e-liquid producers should avoid them totally. The risk of any chemical is also determined by dosage, length of exposure and other factors which have not been taken into account here.

I've knowingly used eliquids/flavourings that contain Acetoin & Acetyl Propionyl for years . . . . and intend to continue doing so. These are minute amounts, made even more miniscule by dilution - I've no intention in being caught up in a knee jerk reaction reports such as these can generate.

This of course is my personal decision to make, as it is anyone elses.

What I'd actually like to see is all companies highlight these ingredients in their eliquid/concentrates as TFA do, so people can make an informed decision for themselves.

TFA/Capella are both companies who now produce V2/DX versions of their flavours, minus Acetoin & Acetylpropionyl for anybody who truly wants to avoid these ingredients.

Yea, DR F said it's less, lesser and lesser than lesser....!
