Trustpilot took a bit of a dive this morning on the Victoria Derbyshire show (BBC 9.15am) I didn't see it all, but the gist of it was they were accepting fake reviews for products. The show inferred there was a whole industry out there growing in shameful tactics and fake reviews across all products. Anyone see it? Anyway... enjoy this little example of Trustpilot at work. uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.e-lites.co.ukOnly 1 review on there is genuine. It's obvious.... it's E-Lites.

Had a big piece on review sites on watchdog last night, companies paying five dollars per review even using dead peoples names and pictures disgraceful

This has been going on since 'reviews' were introduced... I used to do 'affiliate marketing' several years ago and below is just one site where you could get any review you'd want, NOT that I did that, but have used them for 'logo' and other services (I'm not knocking the site, they are merely a database of freelancers that will do anything for a fiver! and I've had good service from them, but there's good and bad) ... LinkAs with anything, it's 'buyer beware', question everything, plus I'd certainly lump 'comparison sites' into the same category. Don't trust them!

Having stopped smoking with e-lites within 1 weekend I would say, apart from the charger stopping working after not so many uses, they did what it said on the tin, battery life was pretty poor as well so you had to constantly charge and re charge, so i wouldn't recommend them, but wouldn't diss them either, did the job for me, maybe others need to get some will power? basically anybody saying they don't work is talking bullshit, what they should say is they didn't work for me!

e-lites are por, and massivly overpriced. But the same can be said for many of the more mainsteam manufacturers, liqua lites and their ilk. Blu were in the same boat but are much better now with thier evod kits. Much of the negative opinion of vaping is down to these firms, and also to the innumerable shops selling £20 CE4 kits bought for £5 or less from China. Any tanks below the humble Evod are honestly a waste of cash. The Mrs bought at first a blu kit. Battery and two cartos. They were pathetic. Then she bought two different CE4 kits, both of which were better but still very poor. Our breakthrough came when we ordered a dual mini protank kit from myepack. Pretty simple stuff by todays standards, but it did the job, and paying £1.50 or so for a new coil head was so much better than a fiver for another pathetic ce4. Thank god PinkyPuff found AAEC and got good advice or we'd both still be smoking. Basic kits have their place, but not at the prices most places ell them for.
