I bought a Gizmo mech mod. It is a fine piece to use. However, I have a (genuine) Lemo 2 and a (clone) Subtank mini which won't fire on it. Anyone have an idea why? It fires with all my other tanks.

What kind of firing pin is in the gizmo? Strange that the subtank clone doesn't fire, as the genuine subtank has a huge 510/firing pin.

I noticed one of my Subtank clones wouldn't fire on my dna40s but is fine on a Provari. Then I noticed with the RBA deck the 510 pin wasn't being pushed out far enough by the RBA base, fitted the OCC head and the 510 pin protrudes significantly more. I've not compared to a genuine as yet but it's definitely related to the 510 pin position.

Not an ideal solution but it worked for me with a mod and atty combo that didnt connect. Take an ego thread adaptor and grind a few mm off the female end. i used a belt sander but a file would do it just take a lot longer. then screw the atty into the shorter female end of the adaptor, being ground down the atty will screw further down in and push the adaptors positive pin out the bottom that much further, So when screwed into the mod it will make contact with the +ve pin.. Not a pretty solution as the atty stands a cm or so off the mod due to the adaptor but it works..
Before grinding down the adaptor might be worth checking if it works without any modification first

Kinda defeats the object of stealth vaping. Thanks though.

It does decoy, but I wondered if I could get one with a stiffer spring. On the other hand, I have tanks that work with it, so I might not bother adapting it with stuff I don't really need.

Thanks decoy, but to be fair, it's a minor niggle, I just wondered why the Lemo won't connect really. I mostly use it with a Cthulhu tank, so not really that bothered. Keep the pin, you may need it more than me.
