Have been listening to interviews today from some of the England Womens footie team, and it was a breath of fresh air. What came across was the enthusiasm of what I remember from decades ago from the men, before they became pampered pr*cks.

Some really heart warming stories, one who was homeless just a few years ago, but their only ambition was to make their country proud, and I believed them, unlike their male counterparts.

Yes, they are getting paid, but not obscene money... top earner £65k pa... but I did see that the top USA woman is on £2m per year, so I guess it won't take long for the game to go the same way.

They'll be getting £32k each if they win in the final but yeah i completely agree with Raffles, nice to see an England team that's giving it's all to make themselves and their country proud.

At least it definitely crossed the line. I'd be beyond gutted if we'd been done by another goal that never was.

I'm too proud of The Lionesses to be heartbroken, but I'm gutted all the same. I don't think anyone saw the run we went on coming after the France match.

I'd have gone Aluko for Taylor (if Jodie was only up to 60 mins, I'd have left her on if not!) and Carney for Duggan, but Mark Sampson has earned his job managing a national side in his 32 years on the planet and I've put myself in the position of watching the match with a bottle of Morgan's Spiced in mine.

I knew the game was up as soon as Fara Williams was taken off, but I expected a loss on pens or deep into et. I really didn't see that coming
