Vapers In Power Call Action 3rd July 2015


Three actions you can take this week to help keep vaping free.


1. It has been revealed that Welsh Labour are plotting to extend their proposed ban on vaping in enclosed public places to outside play areas - and even hospital grounds!
There are an estimated 100,000 vapers in Wales - yet this petition only has 2,300 signatures.
You don’t need to live in Wales to sign - Sign it (if you haven’t already) and spread it as far and wide as you can, ask your local vape shop to start collecting signatures. All it takes is a laptop or tablet and the link: www.welshlibdems.wales/ecigs


2. The Article 20 Legal Challenge is still woefully short of signatures too – especially from countries outside the UK. This could bring down the TPD – why oh why have so few people signed it?

I have signed it, but I must say I object to being asked my phone number. I get slammed with so many cold calls I feel uncomfortable and maybe many other people do also?

I must admit I am not a big fan of giving out my phone number, but if the Lib Dems can't manage to follow the data protection act, we really are in trouble.

I was a bit put off by it too, but in the end I decided that it was a good cause and bunged in a tenner. I think they pitched the amount wrong, if they had asked for a fiver it wouldn't have got my back up as much, but £20 is well outside my comfort zone

It is decidedly risqué, but it did get you to read the thread which was it's intended purpose. A lot of the advocacy stuff gets decidedly boring and people just scroll past, so I decided to have a bit of fun this week.

regarding the ? about phone # or indeed e-mail addys that were asked ....these are irrelevant - just put any old made up crap there, its just the pay-pal details

that are the important + accurate detail reqd. So you can preserve your privacy (if not your fiver :-) )

Consider what the purpose of the fundraising is for .......its to help to gather signatures that 125k Welsh Vapers,2.6 million UK Vapers have managed to contribute just 2400 or so ......

If the daft idiotic laws pass in Wales ,you can be damned sure that others will swiftly follow on elsewhere
