Coil builds for squonkers

A fair few people who are into squonking around here so hopefully somebody can give me advice

Very simple question. What setup do people prefer in their squonker? Dual or single coil, sub or plus ohm and little cotton, lot of cotton or other?

I'm still using my brothers zenith on mine with a dual coil setup which reads around 1.2 ohm

I am usually around 1 ohm plus or minus a few digits ,( using duel and single coils) and it's spot on for the kind of Vape I like . The only exception to this is the SX350 squonker seems better <1 ohm , Yihi mentioned this in their blurb but cannot remember the reasoning for it .

I am looking for better flavour instead of clouds etc, as long as you know the limitations of your device/ build / batteries etc, just experiment.

really does depend on the atty...
I've got a 14mm atty that is coiled mundane at 0.9ohms, single spaced coil with cotton=flavour. I cant really go much lower in this little atty without making it too hot, and it just doesnt "chuck" clouds in anycase...but excellent flavour. This is what I would take to work and so on..a nice little stealthy vape.

I also have a 22mm atty with dual microcoils down to 0.3ohm that throws clouds about. For when clouds are necessary. It drinks the liquid though..10ml in a day is easy to do.

I have one regulated squonker (15W) in which I use a single 1.5 ohm coil(spaced) with cotton wick, gives great flavour at about 12 watts. I have a couple of unregulted squonkers and use about 1 ohm coils to get the power up a bit. Was disappointed when I tried dual coils.

Thanks for the responses so far. I'm going to look about for other attys to try and see how a single coil plays out

I seem to be sticking with b juice in the squonker at the moment although I know that it should be kicking out more flavour. Not really bothered about clouds either

Will extend the overall question to include attys as well :-)
