More pupils try 'vaping' than smoking

I see this as a positive thing......and a positive article.

Deborah Arnott, the chief executive of the anti-smoking charity ASH, said: "These results do not support the idea that experimentation with electronic cigarettes is a gateway into smoking as the number of young people trying smoking continues to decline year on year."

Very true unfortunately.

The good news is spreading and is being accepted a lot more though. The typical pub conversation starter has gone from 'those things will kill you' to 'WOW, what batteries does that take? Makes mine look tiny!!'.

To me it is a good study and debunks some of the hysteria around children using ecigs because of the flavours. This kind of says it all, "It is reassuring that regular use of e-cigarettes remains low at 1%, and almost entirely among young people who have previously smoked tobacco".
