Ah yes... A bit embarrassing really given his, err, position on the Privileges and Conduct Committee for the lower house.

"A personal statement of apology" may not be sufficient redress (this being the usual action that's mandated) as he's not got huge wealth associated with him (as, say, Lord Ashcroft).

My understanding is that he used to be a good man, although this was before he fell in with Tony's cronies (bloody Tories).

Before judging the poor chap just try spending a few years with more cash you can spend for doing bugger all but linning your own nest and just see how long you can resist a coke covered tiity when you have just paid for it with tax payers cash..

The one good thing was that it didn't involve minors, unlike so many other 'alleged' names.

Having said that, while I'm happy for consenting adults to indulge in whatever on their own premises, I'm completely gobsmacked as to his 'judgement', and where the hell was the camera?... on a tassle!
