After a spate of these posts in the past on social media, at last one has got under the skin of the common man and this despicable person has been the straw which has broken the camel's back.
If this outrage experienced on the internet stops one person from going on a hunting safari, then it will be worth it. It's just a crying shame that it has taken so long and we have wasted so many innocent animals in the process.
A friend of mine on Facebook said something along the lines of "why don't people complain when we kill a cow or chicken in the same way?". The simple answer is that we are carnivores; we need the protein from meat and it is built into our genetic makeup. The difference here is that Cecil was killed for ... no reason. Simple argument.

I beg to differ some people are omnivores some are herbivore we dont need meat.

I'd be just as pissed off if someone killed a cow or chicken in the same way. At least they are dealt with pretty quickly and not left to suffer.

I don't like sharing posts like this as I hate to see animal cruelty, but why do some 'human beings' (I use the term loosely!!) seem determined to kill off anything of any beauty in this world ??? What do they achieve killing an endangered species ? If they wanted to be famous for being an arsehole I'm sure someone could tell them they are one without having to go to this length ? Cruel, evil, disgusting, sad, nonsensical - I can't find any words to describe these things that claim to be 'human beings'

I'd like to see all airlines refuse/make it illegal to carry any hunting ' trophies ' for starters . . . . if these despicable people couldn't transport them, that would be a step in the right direction.

How anyone would want to display a piece of a dead animal that they've murdered in their home, is in my head inconceivable.
