There are so many improvements to the e-cig since I first came across them a couple of years ago - but - is anyone producing an alternative to the original carts. My vaping experience would be greatly enhanced if there was something that holds more than a few drops of juice and lasts a lot longer. Maybe its out there and I haven't come across it yet - or is this wishful thinking ?!?!?!

Have a look here...The products are all dependant on whether you have the tornado, if you don't, they are half price from here. www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk/products/electronic-cigarette-tornado-products.htmlI've not used the Mega carts yet, but I do know they need the Mega atomiser, so you'd need to order both. I can recommend the Mega cartomisers. I got about half a days' solid vaping before it needed refilling. So 2 would last all day no problem, and at that price, £1.50, its a very good deal. I bought 5, and am that pleased with them i'm going to order a lot more while they are still half price. To refill the cartomisers, you need a blunt needle and syringe, which can be bought from cloud 9 vaping for about a quid.

Liz there are also things like Automatic feed Systems (AFS's) for larger battery mods that take up to 5ml's of juice. Plus the new GGTS AVS : -

Bucko, do you know if you can use an "ordinary" cartomiser adapter (like I use with my SD MkI) for the mega cartos?

the mega cartos are designed for the tornado, they extend about 1cm over the connector, so they don't sit flush on most mods. But with an adapter like you have, it should be ok.
I've read some folks have cut the plastic away from the cartos to enable their use on mods like SD's without adapters.
It's a regular 510 connector. They're really great, I've used other cartos before and the ones i had were a bit crap, but these are pretty powerful ( I'd say halfway between a 510 / 510LR) and the flavour comes through a bit nicer than from 510 atties.

Another vote for XL cartomisers, they are fab and can be cut down really easily to be put on mods. I've got pictures on my site but I'll not link cos this isn't the proper suppliers area for that type of thing. Using one right now on my new OMeGa

I'm not sure if I'm going to get the Megadolon now Lilac I've had me head turned by the Omega. I've read there's going to be a black version, so that's currently top of my wishlist (along with millions of XL cartos)

Lisa, Those AW high drain batteries on your site - have you used them on the Omega? I was just wondering what advantages, if any, they have over the standard 18650 batteries which the Omega uses.

Thanks Chrissie, i'll have a read of that once i've caught up with the goss on Facebook It was panicstations earlier with my Mako Bucko, just wasn't working, but after Gordi fiddling with it for 45 mins, after rescuing it from the bin where i'd chucked it i thought maybe i'd forgotten to charge the battery i thought was a fresh one, i vaguely remember swopping it at my friends house the other night when i'd had a few :-[ looks like that's what's wrong, cos i put both batts on to charge 30 mins ago and they're both still red, so obviously not been fresh at all soooooo glad i have a back up in my Tornado....

Buck, High drain batteries are designed for the current draw that we, as e-cig users, demand from our e-cigs. Using normal li-ion batteries outside their normal operating parameters shortens their life, if you are fine with this, then no problems there. If you'd like a battery that will last for many more charging cycles, then LiMN are the ones you want. Some people notice this increased performance when they are vaping too, particularly with LV/LR atomisers. Additionally, their chemistry is inherantly safe, so no extra PCB required, plus this makes them smaller than some other batteries too, which is useful when you've got a mod where some batteries are a tight fit. Not used them in my oMeGa yet, only got it today and I've been using a standard protected li-ion in it all day with a cut-down XL cartomiser. I do use them in my GG Trans and GG TS and notice a better performance.
