Ah I dont have a phone with Bluetooth 4 on it so I just do it on the mod (I havent any titaniun but it is in the menu)

Did you wipe the old firmware before loading the new firmware, apparantly it`s important, leaves bits of code where it shouldn`t if you dont wipe it first as per the instructions.

Yes I did and I can't find anything showing single coil/double coil either.

Found the single coil (SC) and dual coil (DC) section but still can't find TI section or any mention of TI on the Mod. Will leave it till tomorrow as getting a bit tired now

Maybe change it to wattage mode, have a vape and then go back to TC mode and it might show itself. I`ve got a new one coming, my lads borrowed (claimed) the one I got first

Updated again. Manage to suss out the TI mode. The mod needs to be upgraded to TI mode and it costs £0.33p to do so, but got it working now. Time to investigate the mysteries of initial ohms etc. Actually probably better left till later.

sydsut The initial ohms makes a real difference.....the most difference.

I up mine from the 0.128 it reads to 0.140........so upping it by 0.012

The nickel coefficient on mine is now 0.00642

And it's set to HARD (which is +10% power for first 2 seconds)

I haven't enabled the Ti mode on mine................have no Ti coils so haven't bothered yet.

Received mine today and I am a bit disappointed, fire key sticking out of the box, and a couple of scratches on the casing , not deep but annoying for a new device. Sorted the fire button by having to slacken the hex bolts above the plate slightly, I take it there's no film on the casing that requires peeling off, as I cannot seem to find any lip to peel it off, as that could account for the couple of scratches.

Updated the firmware, changed the coefficient for NI to 640, and realise with this mod that you set the temp I take it, and if I read correctly that will determine wattage, well I cannot seem to get above about 28w at 500f?

Where as on the Snow wolf the same atty was rocking along at 48w with no TC intervention.? The other issue is it keeps losing the Bluetooth connection on my IPad, I had tried it on my Android phone ( Samsung Galaxy s6) but hardly work on that at all.

Any advice appreciated, off to drop Isabel a pm

The 28W suggests that your coil set up can only sustain 28W before the wick starts to dry. Might be worth seeing what the vape is like at 48W without TC?. I havent got anything with Bluetooth4 on so cant help with that.

I`m not 100% on this but if you download the firmware update from the SMOK site, I dont think you have to pay for the Titanium bit. My lad`s got mine at the moment so I cant test that theory. Seems strange though.

I think it's goosed, 3 different atty all set up with ni200 all working fine on Snow Wolf, Segelei and SX Mini, at first I got a few Vapers ok earlier today, now it's only 1w in TC mode, no TC kicking in or it will go haywire and burn the wick instantly , it can go back , to be honest does not even look new!

Reset it, and the coefficient, set it all up again now left with 1w lol then starts reporting the coils too low! One last attempt, I'll re load the firmware, otherwise back to China with this one I am afraid
