Just got the Kangertech Subtank fitted with a .2 ohm nickel coil on the CUBE. First time I have tried a tank. It`s flyin as well. At 420F it`s blowin clouds here, flavour is muted compared to the Magma for sure, anything lower than 420F and the vape temp seems a lot lower that the Magma dripper. Working A1 though on TC Q. It`s the same on the SMY at 390F ish.

I dont know robby the temp control is working fine on the SMY, I just ran a tank dry in order to change flavours and no burning at all, currently on 590F

so for eg if i use my doge with the right coil and wicking i could get 100 watts out of it but if i fubar the coil or the wicking only 20 watts but no bad taste

but what happens if i only want 10watts at 400deg on a good set up

if you only want 10w 400deg you would probably have to switch the joules (auto) off then input settings yourself,

What I've gathered from joules is that of what you described before, I have a 0.26ohm at 300f and have joules on, it will ramp up wattage to get to the temp set,
Unfortunately this is as much as I know. Maybe robby or VapingBad could put there knowledge to explain

You would just get 10 W on a DNA and I think most devices, the temp limit is like having a governor on your cars top speed (not revs) and the accelerator is like the watt setting.

thats what im on about
i use tc on drippers only so want it to stop dry hits and have it set between 350 and 420 deg on about 20 watts and as far as i can tell the smok wont do this or am i barking up wrong tree
