Oh damn I'm angry I've completely had enough of the selfishness of people these days everytime I see a woman or man with a pushchair or wheel chair for that matter I've always been one to offer assistance when ever I see it's needed ,hell I even hold a door for a woman .. That's Gona change I just went for a quick trip to lidl with my little boy in the pushchair when I got there I realized the automatic door didnt work as the person in front of me just let the door swing back smacking into the pram BUT they just kept walking leaving me(the pram and my child) stuck between the door and the frame , now at this point there are 2 women behind me watching me struggle to push the door and pull the pram though it Instead of offering to help one just gave the sly comment under her breath "take your time!"
I'm quite sick of the atatude I get from people when I'm out with my kid being a stay at home dad I get things like this all the time!not to mention some of the comments I've had
Guess I just needed to vent that out ARRGHH

I know how you feel stitch, I too have a youngster (3 month old little Girl) and I am so shocked at how rude and inconsiderate people are ! I had one woman who was in one of those electric buggy things, riding around Tesco like she was a test driver for Harley Davidson motorbikes, she bumped into me 3 times and the babie's pushchair twice and not once did she say sorry.
OK Rant over.....Grrrrrr

being a stay at home dad I get things like this all the time!not to mention some of the comments I've had I'm a stay at home Dad as well! I've never come across one problem because I'm a SAHD tbh People are rude in general though and it annoys me every day. However, this morning me and my little boy went shopping, didn't have one problem, despite him being the one running around and growling at everyone (he's a baby lion all the time atm ) and getting in everybody's trolleys way. As I said, I didn't have one problem this morning, but everyone else who was in the shop at the same time as me, might not say the same. LOL

Yeah, I noticed the mother and baby rooms too ! I've taken to wearing quite a fetching frock just to use them but alas, I feel that my bald head & Goatee together with my designer dress is not a good look, lol.
TBH, I find that most people are quite polite (generally speaking) or maybe that's just because I do have a tendency to go 'postal' if the situation demands it and that often gains an apology from irksome idiots.

That's crossed my mind too, where can Dad's out on their own with babies change their nappies. ??? Maybe they should have a trained Nanny in every women's public loo to do the job!
Mentioning the rudeness of people, does anyone else find that they have to get out of everyone else's way when you're out? I often feel invisible, it's always me who has to get out of their way. I'm often zig-zagging around people as if I'm drunk.

Don't really know why shops can't just provide a baby changing room regardless of whether it's mum or dad with a baby. I think these days people are basically rude, they lack manners and respect for people and things, and yes it annoys me.........i'll take my Mary Whitehouse hat off now

(((( Stitch )))) What really gets my goat . . . is when I hold a shop door open for someone, old/ young/ male/female . . . with a pushchair or not . . . and they don't have the courtesy to say thank you.
