Because of the little sod I now have a damp patch on a clean pair of jeans, smell of bubble gum and have lost 4ml or so of juice.
I reached into my pocket for a vape after my train journey to work (the train was busy, so I was standing the whole way and didn't dislodge the glass by sitting down with my mod in my pocket) and noticed something was up pretty quickly, the tank and top cap of the tfv4 were no longer attached to it and everything in my pocket was rather sticky. Absolutely no indication anything was loose, it was attached one minute and in bits the next.
At least my mod appears to be fine and my phone's case did its job, oh and the juice was cheap.
Having been woken up last night by a wasp in the process of stinging me and now this, I'm wondering what else today has to throw at me? I need a third bit of bad luck, right?

Funny you should bring this up BrenD. I received my prize from myepack yesterday. Tried the fitted triple coil head and struggled with it for a while. Had wandering ohms on all my regulated mods so it would only work right on a nemesis I have with me. But that's it - it worked. The vapour and flavour were nothing to write home about. I vaped that tank off an went to fit the quad coiled head. First problem I had was releasing the glass from the bottom o-ring. I read through the instructions to make sure there was no secret screws or anything but no. It's not like me to 'bully' glass but that's what I had to do. Now we get to where I see your problem. With the new head fitted reasembling was weird. Only about 3/ 4 of a turn and the top was tight. I've gotten used to 3 or 4 full turns to seal a tank, but it seems these beasts are supposed to hold themselves together with just 3/ 4 of a thread. There's no wonder your's fell apart. Oh, and isn't that 510 long? Would be okay on bigger mods but with the cutout for 22mm mods it's a bit too long - probably the cause for the wandering ohms. And...... this quad coil head ROCKS on a mech. But I have to put it away, at least until I have a mod that'll read the ohms and power it properly

That was the first issue I'd had with either of mine in about ten days of use, I guess nothing is perfect! I seem to have been reasonably lucky with the triple coil too, on my M80 it always reads somewhere in the region of 0.2-0.24, although it doesn't really have the grunt to fire it. It took a little bit of breaking in, but the taste and vapour production were definitely better than my Atlantis and Arctic tanks. The quad seems slightly happier at 70-80w and better for flavour, but not as good for cloudage. But you probably won't be surprised to hear it was the one I'd swapped the coil in that fell apart. But now I know to look out for the glass making a bid for freedom, I'll make sure it's tightly sealed at all times and won't pocket any mods with either atty on them. I'm sure we'll be friends again when I've washed all of the pocket fluff off the glass and filled her up again Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards

I tried the quad coil first which just got changed out tonight after around 3 weeks (coil was fine, wick had seen better days though) then tried the RBA deck which was good on flavour, but I couldn't push it past the 46w mark without getting that burning cotton flavour lo (Kanthal)l, there may be an issue similar to the Subtank RBA where holes drilled in the side of the RBa may help.
The quad was fine at 80w which was as high as I would ever go occasionally, I now have the triple coil in and it seems good, but so far I prefer the quad out of the 3

Are you sure you weren't standing next to a pretty lady BrenD?
