I'm off to the states in two weeks and plan to take my subox and segelei , my wife also plans to take her subox . We wanted to take four batteries each as we will be camping at some point too . How do we go about taking batteries with us ? Don't want to have them taken off us .mwe were told by someone to put them into the charger ? And the others in the device ?

lawLoose batteries need to be taken in hand luggage, in battery boxes if possible, ends taped up if no boxes to prevent accidental shorting.

Have a safe trip
Batteries should be in plastic cases and MUST be in hand luggage.
Liquids should NOT have toxic labels affixed and must be included with your other liquids in the 1ltr clear zipper bag. Bottle size is limited at 100ml and each passenger may carry no more than 1ltr total liquids/gels.
Cheers I

if your in vegas then just look for the clouds as that will be me batteries must be in hand luggage and strangely enough fully charged (thats what it said on the aviation website). im taking all 3 isticks. as said remove labels if they have the skull and crossbone on them as they are classed as banned substances but without the label you will be fine. empty all your tanks as they WILL leak thanks to the cabin pressure. enjoy your trip. lets hope we dont get met by homeland security who stopped a 8 year old traveling to vegas a few days ago.

I've never had a problem flying anywhere with 4 18650 in plastic boxes in my hand luggage. Juice goes in the plastic baggy like any makeup etc would. I also keep 50cm wire and cotton in my bag - never had any questions about that (must have done 50 flights in the last 3 years). I tend to stick a fresh bottle of juice in my suitcase (in 3 sealed ziplock bags - i have had leaks before) just incase there is a problem with my bottle in my hand luggage (i mix my own, so no markings). I put my nitecore charger in my suitcase. I also put my mod into the tray at security while showing it to the guy and saying 'e-cig'. Sometimes the person at the x-ray monitor flags the mod up, i'll offer to prove what it is by taking a puff - they are more used to them now than they were 3 years ago. As mrdj said, tanks will leak - one big reason why I drip now. Also, vaping is getting more and more restricted in the states - I use 100% pg these days and have been able to vape everywhere i pleased: be considerate, subtle, don't exhale any vapor
