Not new to e cigs but wasn't sure we're to go.
Want to move into rta now. Cost is a factor. Although I firmly believe in spending a LITTLE extra occasionally to get better value and better product.
Firstly woukd I have ro swap my current battery an istick 30 watt? Or will it be ok as long as I do t go below .4 ohms?
In the rta itself would like something that will last give great clouds and good taste. But then from what I read this is what everyone wants. Local guy is selling billow v2 for £30 so saves on postage. But no idea what their like. Maybe it's better to find some preowned rtas first actually so I know what I do or don't want watched a few videos and wicking coiling doesn't seem to difficult to he honest and in long rum will save me £4 on coils for my current tank
There's way to much to read, so i apilogise if it's all been covered.

No such thing as a silly question, peter12!! I don't have experience with a Billow, but a good starting point might be a pre-owned Kayfun Lite/Russian 91%; they are always popping up in the classifieds, and cheap as chips. They are really easy to build and wick once you have climbed that learning curve, and many of the dual-coil decks are very similar. When a KFL works, it works really well, although they are not the airiest of vapes. You can buy a larger airflow base from Fasttech for about £6 and this makes a big difference. I'm sure that many others will come along with their own suggestions, so don't be in a rush

If you havn't rebuilt before then maybe a subtank or lemo2 would be best for you with a single coil instead of dual, although the billow v2/cthulhu is the best rta I've tried so I would recommend them but I couldn't really stop the Cthulhu too stop leaking unless I filled it from the bottom , but I'm planning on getting a Goliath v2 and I think it might just beat the both of them..

lemo/drop have nice single coil decks to get to grips with re coiling/wicking. Nice and open for lung hitting low builds.

As single coil decks go the Kanger Subtank Plus and Mini are a doddle to build on and the added bonus is if you need to pop in a fresh coil or wick you can whip the bottom off and rebuild it without needing to empty the tank. The Lemo 2 isn't bad it's easy to build on but i find it doesn't keep up very well with high VG juice. I like the Cthulhu too as a dual coil although i think it's a bit too over engineered to be honest there's a bundle of bits and about half a dozen different o-rings on it, the flavour it produces is great though. As mentioned before the top filling doesn't really work all that well. The Goblin is supposedly very similar although never tried one myself. If you really want proper clouds though you really need a dripper.

Definitely a mini subtank I have genuine and fasttech clones and they're all brilliant, just make sure you get one with the rba base if you go for a clone.

Have a a Cthulhu built at 0.1 (ni200) and another at 0.5 (kanthal), they both drink like fishes, and I have no problem top filling Get Off My Cloud. Have you put some wick into the juice channels?

Yeah doesn't seem to matter too much how i set it up it always leaks a bit when top filling. Doesn't piss out but there's always some leakage until i get the top back on and create a vacuum.

Most of the day i'm at work .....i use istick 30w + kayfun 4 clone ..... istick can manage easy 20w all day long using a 0,7 ohm twisted kanthal coil on kayfun 4 ,good flavor and pocket size
