Wee tip for glass tanks

So my mate was just round he gave me a great tip for my glass tank as dropped mines and broke a few in the past

Well you dont like the look of those rubber vape rings heres the next best thing grab a couple of screen protectors
cut to size and wrap around glass added protection

poundland doing them for iphone 6 so you can get a few cut outs from that

Be careful if you live in australia, sellotape is a brand name for a condom. asking for a roll will guarantee you some queer looks, or her phone number!

When I read the title "Wee Tip" I was a little concerned so had to come in and check it out, good idea this, well it would be but I have never been able to apply a dam screen protector without bubbles.

*Mist* the protector with soapy water with an aero-sprayer, like you get for* misting* house plants, before you start. And I mean "missed", as in, not soaking wet.

The best tip for applying screen protectors is to use the hinge method in a steamy bathroom.. Videos on you tube.

I have never yet (fingers crossed) broken any of my glass tanks. I bought spares for my Nautilus 5ml and later on for the Mini, plus the spares for the Atlantis v1 and v2's, which are all still sitting in their boxes gathering dust.
The have been knocked over, even on a mod from my PC desk onto a mat on the floor, which caused me some concern at the time, but all was well.

Saying this boast, I will probably break the lot now....

Yea your right Markus, I fell for that when I went down under in the 70,s - came out the chemist with a roll of sticky tape, was too embarrassed to explain.
