Theres a new temp control mod from innokin out maybe in the next few months that looks like that new disrupter, maybe even uses the current disrupter batteries but it has some kind of thermometer driven temp control and takes special atties, it also has its own type of connector but they say itll come with a 510 adaptor too but for normal tanks they wont be able to use temp control. Should be interesting

Manufacturers will only produce what they think will sell in great numbers. The push for a better connection system has to come from the consumers in the first place. They are not going to just do it and hope it takes off. If we make a noise about a problem, they will try to respond by filling that need. TC seemed to come about in that way. As in tests pointing out the dangers of vaping at high temp. Then some leaked info about a manufacturer having cracked it, spurred on the others to evolve the system. No doubt it will still evolve if the manufacturers think they can make money. Having a standard certainly makes sense. But it needs one or more of the big boys to change it. The smaller ones will follow so as to make their products compatible. Innokin's Innocell battery being one attempt to change the battery system. Will it catch on. I doubt it. It's still too big.

I seem to have missed the last year or so.
All the nice mech mods seem to have been replaced by random electronics. I tried one (can't remember what - it's in a box at home), which I didn't like, just seems to burn stuff.
So I'm sticking to my Microsticks/Touchwoods/Dingo, all in 18350, with random Spheroids/Miniatty/Microdrip and a few Protank 2s for out and about backups.
Works for me, and changing batteries takes a second.

Contactless charging/power transfer technology is on the up certain modern devices, once the tech has been miniaturised, no more connectors reguired for charging or transfer between battery and atty would get my vote.
