Ok, so I have suffered with the occasional bad coiling day now and again. And the the same with wicking. But I can usually sort things out the following day. However, this week I have wasted about 2 meters of 0.25 Kanthal trying to recoil a Cthulhu. Not even got to the wicking yet. Just can't seem to get the coils to balance. Coiled other stuff ok, so I am wondering if the deck may be faulty ov this one. Anyone had this problem with anything before? Frustrated in Somerset

Never had a problem with the coils on the Cthulhu but then i never work with wire that thin unless i'm using it to make clapton coils, maybe try a thicker gauge wire, i generally use 0.4mm or 0.5mm wire on that tank. Only problem i have with the Cthulhu is it's a pain to disassemble the threads on mine lock really tight, it's a pain it could use some knurling on the outside.

Today my rose dumped a full tank of juice all over my mod, crazy thing I wicked it a week ago and occasionally used through the week. No rhyme or reason it just decided to be an ass.

i tend to use .3 wire in that atty with a 2mm id as there isnt much room(bigger the coil the less airflow)and i bend and cut the legs before fitting dont think ive ever had a week of it going fubar but defo 2 or 3 days and it is frustrating hope you get yer mojo back soon
opps forgot to add re nip the screws after a few dry burns as that can help it even out

I sometime have the same problems with duel coils, but after using the supplied coils that came with my Velocity, I've decided to get some more from FT and be done with all the aggro. Better than any I have made myself. 0.6 Ohm 0.5mm 3.2mm diam 30mm legs
