So...got a colleague off the stinkies before the summer holibobs.
She's on a spinner and evod setup we gave her and uses liquid recipies we gave her (shes a home economics teacher so mixing was logical for her)
She tried my work setup (kraken on a mech) and is now asking for a tank that gives similar flavor but uses premade coils.
Any idea what to recommend for her? I've tried subtanks, isubs etc and the flavor is really muted compared to my setup. Can I get her a tank with stock coils or am I doomed to rebuilding gennys for her?

She'll need a new mod, as the triple and quad coils need a good 80w or so to come to life, but the Smok TFV4 is very good. Genny good? Probably not, but easily the best stock coils I've tried. But then again any of the sub tanks on the market should do the trick if she's upgrading from an EVOD, just don't let her use your gear too often Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards

I don't think it is possible, I have been looking for a couple of years, tried sub tank and Lemo recently and both are flavourless to my taste buds, drippers and Claptons are better but way behind on flavour for me. If you do find something tell me.
I would get her to dry burn then steam clean (I use a cheap recon Vax hand held £25 eBay) or ultrasonic clean a genny with ss rope and kanthal (not too thin), they last ages (> 6 months) like this once set up as long as the dry burn is quite genital. I prefer rope, but these builds last longer as the rope is so physically robust and keeps the mesh in place and in shape, after cleaning like that they taste as good as new.

Now and again I go back to the kraken. To me the kraken is like a bottom fed dripper. Why not get her a dripper that will take premade coils?

i know the subtank is flavorless to you but you've been spoiled its a good tank to get her started on as you can get heads and its not to hard to rebuild ,so a good tank for her to learn on mod wise anything with tc but an istick i still cant get tc to work right lol

I settled on the Nautilus Mini after several months of Evods & Naturevape Pros (RG200 & 400). Tried numerous mods, 2200m mah tubes,Provaris & Mechs, Countless new wonder tanks. All are either in a cupboard, sold or given away. Now I have a collection of iStick 30Ws and Angie has iStick 40ws topped with Nautilus Minis. For us it's been faff free satisfying vaping for over a year. Well for Angie it's faff free. I recoil the coil heads & make the liquids. Have I stopped looking for something better? Don't be silly. Have I found it? Yes but I think it's just an improved Nautilus Mini. At £70 it's going to be a slow process replacing the minis with Kabuki 510s. In case you are why Angie has the 40Ws and I have the 30s:- is it more power? is she into Temp. Control? No. It's because the 40W has those 2 little slots for her pretty lanyards

I quite like the aspire atlantis.... it never leaks on me and ready made coils can be rebuilt when needs be. Its fairly tasty and airflow allows for lung and MTL hits and it sits well on an istick, which isn't too large a jump up in vape gear size

An aspect of re-coiling of which I was unaware. I think you just scared me off.....

nearest ive got to a geni vape was a taifun with a mesh wick, still not the same but close I think the key to matching a geni flavour wise is steering clear of cottons.

This must be the typo you were referring to lairey, I'll tag Phoenixflame (Julie) as she was trying to find it.
