I've been trying to find spare bits for my OneKit, (battery, atomisers) but everywhere seems to be out of stock of them. I'm trying to find a place that has both, to try and save on postage... I'm wondering if it might not just be easier to get another of the same kit? (In a different colour, so I know which is charged and which one isn't!) Although, I'm wondering if there is a better alternative to the one I have, because a few people have said it's not really the best one.... have tried reading reviews, but end up going around in circles, (and keep ending up on American sites selling things not available in the UK... I hate when Google does that!) The reason is, we are going on holiday at the end of the month, and I don't want to get there and discover that it's run out of charge or it needs a new atomiser... by the pool with drink in hand, I know I'd be tempted back onto the ciggies! I've been good today- only two rollups. Should I just go ahead and get a cheap back-up? I am on a tight budget, and I am not sure what they are called...ego kits? the ones that look like very large pens- those I the ones I prefer. It doesn't have to be a great one, just enough to get me through a week-long holiday with putting any more strain on my wallet! off to look at e-liquids now.... I like doing that.

Google is NOT your friend.
Besides, the USA is well known for all it's fake review sites that promote the products with the highest commission.
Anyway... there are plenty of decent vendors in the UK.
For back-up, I would get another eGo battery and some iClear16s.

PM me your name and address tipsyturtle. I have some *The One Kit* spares, batteries, clearo's, atty's. If you pay the postage, I'll dig them out and send them FOC. I started on those, and my wife did too, so we have some stuff hidden away somewhere. We don't use them now, and if they will help, you are more than welcome to them. I have stainless and purple (I think), they might be a bit battered now, can't remember, but they would be ok as back-ups.

To save faff, might be worth investing in a cheap powerbank that you can charge your eGo batteries from poolside - something like this

All I would say (learnt from bitter experience) is 'keep it simple' for holidays tipsyturtle. Get what you know (think tim has you sorted ) and what doesn't require too much brain power. If it's slightly different vape but still semi reasonable - no worries - you'll get used to it on holiday. My recent holiday kit was a £12 mod from classies and stuff that required no brain power... One thing you haven't mentioned is juice - take enough!!! Zip lock bags from ebay and sure other folk will be able to help you out with flying regs (I usually come back with half my holiday juice unused but wouldn't have it any other way!!!) I don't know if poundland and savers still have them but found their travel bottle kits fine for me (cost about £1.50 or less)

Thanks ever so much Tim! I've sent you a PM now. Chykensa... I've been meaning to get one of those powerbanks- it didn't occur to me that it would be good for my e-cig, too, (I was thinking of the cameras!) I'll definitely have a look at those, that's a good idea. Mod Destroyer... do you think I should put the eliquid in something else for safekeeping? I've been trying to check on regulations, and all I can find is that it might have to go in the plastic bag with any other carry on liquids... I am worried about them leaking, though. The bottle that came with my kit is still half-full, but I'll probably vape more if I'm just sitting around, especially by the pool... or the bar! (so hopefully will be vaping a LOT!) so better take at least one extra bottle of something basic, (the free one is pretty nice- could always get another one of that.) I want to keep it simple... don't want to invest in something nice and discover it broken in my luggage. You guys are great. Thanks so much for all the advice and really useful tips!

tipsyturtle travel bottles from pound shop/savers type thing should be fine (depends how much you vape. I chain vape so for a week I'm looking at at least 100ml!) as they come in a plastic bag. If you're concerned just put the bottles (individually) in ziplock bags from ebay - something like www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/ziplock-bagsBUt don't go for a chinese vendor if you're in a hurry (despite the price!!!). If you're in a rush pm me you're snail addy and I'll get some posted to you next couple of days free of charge? How does that sound? (I tend to buy them by the 100!) Jane

That's lovely of you, Jane... fortunately I've got a few weeks before we go, and the herbalist I buy from always sends things in ziplock bags... so I've got quite a few at the moment! I do try and avoid anything from Chinese vendors now- too many bad experiences. It's proving difficult to determine which e-liquids are from there... I'm being paranoid I'm sure, but there have been stories about herbs from China that have been badly contaminated, so I try and steer clear of anything edible, drinkable, (and now vapable!) that is from there. UK made is best.
