On a less flippant side, do you prefer pre-built heads or do you rebuild on a deck? And what sort of budget, ie Clone or Authentic?

In terms of non temp control clearomizers the Smok TFV4 triple and quadruple coils are in a league of their own, the rest are much of the same thing not a huge difference. Vertical coil heads tend to have a better airflow than the horizontal type. The TFV4 is a 24mm tank though so you will need to take that into consideration if you chose to go for that tank, they are also very low resistance with the triple coil being 0.15ohm and the quadruple coil being 0.2ohm so you will also need a device that is capable of firing such a low resistance coil, they really need at least 60w-90w to even start performing. To get the most from the TFV4 you really need a dual 18650 series box. Most of the other regular sub ohm coils are good from 25w-60w so are good on a single 18650 device.

Presuming you currently build your own coils in the kayfun I would suggest something like the goblin Mini, I have only just moved over to sub ohm from Kayfuns (still use them daily though) and having tried some of the tanks with pre built coils they don't really come close to the Goblin mini in my opinion. Easy to build and the flavour is great.
In terms of Mods, there are so many out there all fitting different brackets depending on size, TC, Max output, lowest Ohms fired etc. Its probably worth just having a look on a decent vendors page and looking at what you like, the specs and the price you're happy to pay.

As ginge7289 says the goblin atty's have great flavor and are easy to build on. Either the full goblin or the mini. At 0.4 Ohm you need something with 50w or more so, can be used on one of the single 18650 mods. Another to look at could be the new goliath, the v2, which gives the same intense flavor as the goblin but the v2 has a bit more room for your coils, also you can get at the coils while the tank is full, and comes with an insert that closes off half the deck so you can use with a single coil. Only got mine a few days ago but its nice. my review with link to atty

With the Aspire Triton if you don't get on with the sub ohm coils you've still got the option of using it with the 1.8 ohm ones.

Love the tfv4 best tank I've used so far someone said that smok have improved it and a new version of it should be out in a few months time

Just got the dual coil RBA head today so i'll be giving that a shot in the next day or so. The one thing i don't really like all that much is the stock drip tip which is annoying because the drip tip well is shallow on the tank meaning regular tips don't sit down flush.

My daily tanks are Goblins and Orchids - all dual-coil and run at about .5ohm (that's to say, 2 x 1ohm coils). They are a doddle to build on and are trouble free, producing loads of flavour and vapour. Cheap versions of both are available from the Chinese sites and come in at around £15 each, plus a 2-3 week wait for them to arrive. Mods? Your budget and preference looks-wise are the only real criteria here; the larger ones use 2 x 18650 batteries, smaller ones 1 battery or built-in requiring a charge via a micro-USB charger. Give us a bit more information and we can narrow that down a bit - do you feel confident to give dual coils a go? Or do you want the convenience of swappable coils? What budget do you have? Built-in or rechargable batteries? Small or large form mod? There is so much choice out there, but hopefully we can help you get something you will enjoy
