Hi all Been doing mixing now since the end of July. Started with doing 10ml samples - none were good, so went on to tweak them and do 5ml samples, with some new types thrown in (all tobacco based, with maple, toffee, honey, peanut butter, caramel, RY4, Ethyl Maltol, Sweetener and/or Demerara in various combinations). Some were OK, so I tweaked again and made up a few 30ml bottles, also did some more 5ml tweaks. Did get frustrated at having to wait for steeping, but overcame this. The upshot is that, over the past couple of weeks, I've mostly vaped my own stuff (in fact, have had difficulty keeping up with own experiments!). Yesterday, just for the sake of it, I filled a tank with some of my favourite pre-made e-juice which was my everyday vape (went through dozens of bottles so must have loved it!). I was surprised to say the least. The home made stuff (that I was thinking was not as good as it could be) is soooo much tastier, less perfumed and less chemical tasting. Just so pleased I got into mixing. I'm going on to mix up some BIG batches of my favourites so far, and to start experimenting with coffee and nut based flavours. Realised that a big is due to all the mixers (inexperienced for their questions and experienced for their answers) who post on this board, especially Perpetua . who is particulary helpful... sure I would not have got this far in this short a time without this support... folks, and happy mixing!

That's absolutely lovely to read beedee. We all learn/share from and with each other on the forum . . . . no point knowing anything if you can't pass the information is there. You'll be advising new mixers before you know it! * Am on a mixing embargo myself - got that much made up to use at the moment. *

Will put this into my mixing calculator. You won't regret it, It is truly delicious. Make sure you use the stated manufacturers concentrates though for the ultimate taste sensation and steep 4-6weeks, or even longer if you can resist.

Great news beedee, once the mixing bug gets you, you are hooked! I mixed up 400ml yesterday evening, some for friends and some for myself. I have way too much juice mixed, so will have to cut down on my mixing like Perpetua (fat chance of that, they say!). Glad you have picked up some useful tips from the forum as you go along, that's what we're here for
