Following a brief discussion with Perpetua, who gave me the details, I've been in touch with Keith over at Empire Mods, and I've arranged to do a group buy from his range of drip shields. If anyone is interested, then head on over to www.empiremods.com/product_p/em901drip.htm and have a look at what is in stock. Only the shields in stock are currently available. If you're interested in placing an order, then let me know... we'll get flat rate shipping of $5 on the whole order, and the drip shields are $12.99 each (approx £8), so allowing for internal postage I reckon that if there is enough interest, then costing at around £9 each should cover both the reposting and the flat rate shipping. For now, I just want to see if this is viable, so please complete the poll above. I would say that if there are more than 10 shields ordered, then it should be viable to place the group order... Any questions, then please either post here or PM me. I should mention too, that I've posted this over at UKV as well, so please if you're a member of both forums, don't vote in both the polls.... please? Cheers! Tim

Well, so far it's looking good. Between the two forums there's a total of 23 so far. I'm going to keep this up for a few days yet, and if I think there's enough to justify it, I'm going to see if I can negotiate a discount with Keith... 23 is good, it's already nearly $300 of business for them, so we'll see how it goes.

Baically holy they are to stop the liquid coming out when you drip. They are also meant to expand the life of your attys. And they are used for 901 attys and they look quiet nice.

Oh ok apprently they do wrok with 510 aswell and it shuld stop the leaking holy.Heres some info of site for people who arnt sure of them@:
Prevents the 901 atomizers from leaking. Also works with 510 & (306 with delrin fitted drip tip) and proper adapter.
Works as a heat sink. By drawing fresh air in through the two tiny holes located at the top of the shield, use of the drip shield will keep your atomizer cool which results in the prolonged life of atomizers. Tighter draw. The two tiny holes in the top of the drip shield also serve to give a tighter draw, giving you a nice, smooth and less-airy pull with more vapor production!
