Stock levels

I've been toying with opening a B&M store of a market shall I'm my area as there is nothing for 15/20 miles I've found whole salers ect but I'm wondering what sort of stock levels I should start with as this will be a big factor in which way I go

I guess it depends on your footfall at your location. A busy market and you sell more. Quiet village and you sell less. It will be difficult to guide you on that front. Only you know your market and the local population demographics. Rich, poor, middle class etc. To start with I wouldn't go daft on having the whole stall stacked with stock. Having said that you need to make your stall look well stocked. So use posters or pictures to fill the space. At least that way you won't have a truck load of stock to shift if sales are not as good as you expect. If, fingers crossed, and you are mobbed, then the following week you can stock up. Don't forget, the object of this exercise is to make a profit, not provide a service. So consider selling other smoking related stuff. Filters, papers, lighters etc. I know they are not vaping related, but you may hook in a few to try vaping while you make a profit on their filters.

Have you done any research? Ie ask questions to local people, pop in your local pub, shop and ask to gain knowledge if there's people around that would use your market.

What sort of products you going to sell?
Advance hardware
Beginners hardware etc

Another thing to consider is the new Vaping regs that are most likely heading our way in I think it's May. Until that's clear I wouldn't stick your neck out too far, the government want their pound of flesh.
