Temp control tank for Istick 40w tc

Hi all!

I'm looking for a new tank for my shiny mod. Any recommendations welcome

I'm thinking about this:

I have one of those and I'm not impressed so far, using a stock 1.2 coil the bliddy thing gurgles and spits all over and more often than not refuses to register on the mod, apparently I'm not the only one with the same problem, it's not the mod as all my other tanks work sweet, it's definitely a problem with the bottom pin on the tank, much wiggling ensues every time I use it.

I have 2 of these tanks but I use the nickel coils www.fasttech.com/products/2906000 pancser. I had the same problem to start with but I put the coils through the ultrasonic cleaner then they settled down and they last for weeks. Not my favourite tank TBH I prefer the goblin mini but it depends on your building skills as its a rebuildable tank.

What about iSub Apex,Aspire Triton Tank, Uwell Crown or Herakles Hydra are they good for temp control?

It doesn't matter which subohm tank you choose ... Temperature controlled/limiting vaping requires a nickel ni200 coil, be it a stock coil head or a self-built coil in a rba base so unless any of the tanks you mention come with ni200 coils as standard, you will still need to buy or build your own ni200 coils for it. 
My personal choice would be the kangertech subtank mini. ... This comes with kanthal coil heads and a kanthal coiled rba section as standard but ni200 coil heads are readily available for it and the rba base can be recoiled with ni200 wire if you are into building your own coils.
BTW don't be expecting great things with the istick tc 40w as it is has quite basic TC functionality.

+1 for subtank mini's the cheap fasttech clones are 'as good' imho even with a single air in slot in the base they provide an airy vape
simple hassle free tc vaping with ni200 occ coil heads

The best for flavor I have found and you can easily get Nickel and Titanium coils plus the very easy to rebuild CLR heads is the Ego One Mega. It's just the right size too for the iStick TC. Second choice work be the Subtank Mini.

Another vote for the Subtank mini, still use it daily with RBA deck and Ni200, imo far better flavour than the all singing and dancing attys hitting the market which seem to produce great clouds if thats your thing, but at the expense of flavour.

subtank mini has been used for last 7 months and is a bril tank.

It is funny because when i bought my Istick 40w I thought about the Kanger subox mini kit but the Istick's price was better(£20). As it seems now I turn back to subox mini all its coil's wattage range in the Istick ability but I still consider the Herakles hydra.

After all I still love my k1(for work) and the nautilus mini I just would like to try the temp. control.

I recently picked up an I-stick 40TC, as the Ni coils and Subtank nano haven't turned up yet I tried an ST mini on it.
The only issue so far is that the 510 connector seems to be quite shallow and I've had to put a spacer between the tank and mod.

The istick 40 TC has a spring loaded 510 connector so you should be able to screw the subtank mini down flush ... I never had any problem with any Atty on the istick 40 when I had one.

Must have a duff one then because it feels tight and theres still a 2mm gap, even though I have torque wrench fingers I'm not going to tighten it to the mod. I'ts no major issue a simple fix with a fibre/cork washer.
