Hows about somewhere in Liskeard? It would be relatively easy for most to get to. Wondering if Q knows of any vape friendly pubs there?

In the 8 years I've lived here I have never been in ANY of the local pubs, the only (nearby) one I tried was my nearest, Butchers Arms at St Ive, which has now closed down

We should consider the Cornish weather in October as well~? Wetherspoons it is then, i hear that we're welcome to use their smoking areas?

If the Liskeard area is where everyone wants to hold it then maybe the highway man in Dobwalls would be a better choice as the pubs in Liskeard are poo at best and not many have smoking areas.

Q what pubs are actually still open now? The fountain's function room would have been ideal 10yrs ago

Fountain went about 6 years ago, I actually went in there once, they had a sign outside stating "Bar Billiards played here" so being an ex-player I popped in to see, they had just sold it

Only problem is that it could be a tad too far for alexthebear & any other s from over the Tamar.

Am guessing September morphed in to October in a 'drekly' Cornish way!!

Somewhere in the middle would be easier for me as Dobwalls/Liskeard is a bit to far. Looking forward to seeing everone again, it feels like ages since the last one.

Really though, I was thinking more about the time it'll take getting there and back. I'm at the edge of the world down here !!

Thanks Andy, I'll probably drive though. Will see where we end up location wise and then decide train v car (this may seem stupid but i have a real phobia about being a passeger, deep seated issue from a nasty car crash years ago).
