Well, here's something else to do

So, 4 weeks into vaping (and not smoking-hurrah!), 3 mods, 3 attys (plus 2 more on order... and a dripper... shinyitus is definitely taking hold!), built my first coil last week for my subtank mini, and now I've just ordered everything I need (I hope!) to start mixing.

No real questions at the mo, that may well follow once everything arrives, but I've ploughed through all the previous advice posted in here which has steered me in the right direction, and pointed me towards decent vendors (Darkstar and Vapable) for the basics, so thanks for all that info.

I've got the ejuice me up calculator as well, playing around with that has given me an idea of the proportions of ingredients I'll be using, and the costs, or rather savings!

I've got a concentrate from My Vapery to start with, Pastel Da Nutter, one of their juices that's been my favourite of everything I've tried so far, plus some more of the juice to keep me going while my first batch steeps.

Thanks spacey, I am really looking forward to getting stuck in, the 'hobby' side of vaping is something I wasn't expecting at all, but I'm getting a lot of fun out of it, trying different gear, different juices, now recoiling RTAs, it's a slippery slope!

I'm telling myself I'll just go for pre-blended concentrates, but secretly I know it's only a matter of tiime before I start delving into the DIY recipes on here...

Its a good intro to mixing using pre blended concentrates - will get you used to the process. Most of all though just have fun with it and ask as many questions as you like. There's loads of really experienced mixers and they've all helped me loads

Not only is mixing addictive TallPaul70, it saves quite a lot of money too (unless you are Perpetua and buy every concentrate known to man ). I usually reckon on around £1/10ml of juice, and can mix up 150ml of T-Juice Red Astaire for about £13, which is what you would pay for 30ml of pre-mixed liquid.
Ask any questions you may have, we have all started where you are and can help you through the first few mixes and onwards from there.

Turns out I'm becoming a custard fiend! Especially with a touch of cake/biscuit flavour.

Unexpected, tbh, I thought I'd be more into fruity flavours, but only strawberry has appealed in practice (had some from Joose Juice, very nice). Early days, I know, and a world of stuff to try, but custard seems to be where I'm at...

And thanks, too, chykensa, it was actually one of your posts advising somebody else of that sort of saving that made me take the plunge, I've been reading through old mixology threads for advice for newbies.

It's very reassuring knowing there's this experienced advice to draw on, much appreciated.

Their Welsh Custard and ABC are worth trying TallPaul70 . . . .

Both are good as ' standalone ' custard flavours or make a nice base for adding extras to.

I wouldn’t discount these people when shopping concentrates thee-cigshop.co.uk I put in an order Friday Afternoon 2ish delivered this morning that’s before we go near price, plus there is a 10% code ALL10  (AAEC is Chefs Vapour code) which makes it even sweeter.
