Hmm, I reckon I may need to give them a try... they do have a big range, thanks for the tip. I wouldn’t discount these people when shopping concentrates thee-cigshop.co.uk I put in an order Friday Afternoon 2ish delivered this morning that’s before we go near price, plus there is a 10% code AAEC which makes it even sweeter. Custard you say, welcome to the house of pain and gain you are in for some fantastic fun Me neither . . . . excellent service I've had from The Ecig Shop - though the discount code is ALL10.

Thanks beedee, I'm well looking forward to getting stuck in, but then there's the steeping... time for patience...

The steeping really bothered me at first, TallPaul70, but kind of enjoy it now after getting through that first agonising wait! Mind you, I had bought so many ready made juices when I started that I've still got plenty of stocks if I run out of my own stuff! icon_shoppingm Shinyitus rules! (Think we should find a different name for mixing shinyitus)

icon_shoppingm Shinyitus rules! (Think we should find a different name for mixing shinyitus) I've had a few odd looks off work mates/non vaping friends when they ask me what I'm doing at the weekend and I say 'a bit of mixing'. It's a completely normal phrase in my household now, but those who don't know about my little hobby seem to think I've taken up a DJ/clubbing lifestyle

Been meaning to ask you TallPaul70, how's it going on the mixing front?

Been meaning to ask you TallPaul70, how's it going on the mixing front? Hi Perpetua, well, I had a bash last weekend, using the ejuice me up calculator, double checking everything I was doing very nervously, and in practice was pleasantly surprised how straightforward it all went I've done 5 samples mixes... during workdays (I work in an office, non-vape environment so several hours between opportunities) I'm on 18mg nic, which I'd like to slowly reduce, and I tend to use the same when out and about so I'm not creating big clouds, while at home I've found sub-ohming more up my street so use 6mg... still vape outside like when I was smoking (not that that's particularly relevant to anything!) The concentrate I've bought (Pastel Da Nutter from My Vapery) they suggest is mixed at 29%, which seems high, so I'm mixed some at 25% to see how that is, some at 16mg and some 6mg, then some at 29% to compare (again 16 and 6mg), most at 50/50 (or thereabouts, was slightly off that for the 29% 16mg, too much PG in the nic and concentrate) and a 6mg sample at 60% VG, again to compare the difference. Haven't tried any of it yet, they recommend 4 weeks steeping (it's a custard) so just got it in the dark, daily shake, occasional sniff. So I don't really want to mix any more of that until I know how this turns out to I know whether the high flavour percentage is required... I do find I need a good kick of flavour though, hopefully my taste buds will carry on improving, 6 weeks off the cigs now. Next... well, Kreeds Kustard is beckoning me, so I'll probably buy the imgredients for that, start amassing the inevitable stack of concentrates, check out the recipes thread... When I first read about custards it seemed a really strange idea, but they've definitely captured me

I have two custards maturing (steeping) atm TallPaul70, both at 6 weeks. I shook them twice since mixing. Time is far more important than shaking. But, when I started mixing, two days was a long wait!!! So I know you are champing at the bit. But, the longer you can leave a custard, the better.

Ah OK, I'll not worry so much about shaking then, thought I'd read that it helped (I've read a lot of stuff the last few weeks!) I know I've made a rod for my back with my custard weakness, luckily I'm reaaaally good with delayed gratification...
