I was totally sold on the Subtank Mini's (4 of em) but honestly both of these new tanks blow them out the water, even with the modded juice feeds and holes in the Subtanks RBA they are still far behind both the TFV4 or Uwell Crown, i was pretty sceptical myself until i bought them.
I guess its just progress, but imo you cannot go wrong if your looking for an airy vape at anything from 40-100w ( dependant on battery safety, and mod capability)

When my wife asks I'm going to blame you car147

I've had one for just over a week now, seems like a fairly short time to make any defining conclusions but here I go. Its huge, sitting on top of my Sigelei 150 makes the combo a real lump to consider carrying about, it put it in my back pocket whist pottering around the shed earlier and I had to tighten my belt up a notch I've had one leak so far, the chimney to coil thread is short as is the coil to base thread 2>2.5 turns. I must nipped the narrow coil seal and whilst settling it back in undone it half a turn because after two pulls it gurgled and emptied out of the base. Grrrr The quad coil is massively airy, I can't get any sensation of pull through it, drainpipe comes to mind. I've taken it up to 120w without my lungs collapsing from the heat although the tank does get warm/hot. I changed over to a normal 510 drip tip, the wide vented tip didn't really help matters. Setting the mod at 80-100w appears to be about right. I tanked my way through 20ml of juice and had to think about what was going wrong because although the clouds were massive there just didn't seem to be any density to them. Simply I'd say that the quad coils are not for me and I bought 3 packs I haven't tried the triple coil, only having one and not being totally taken with the quads its still in the box. I bought it primarily for the RBA....I'm a subtank user so its like heaven to have a large base to build on. Even so the screw heads and the wire holes in the deck are tiny, the thick twist I use in the subtank rba was too thick to fit in or under. I went for a basic 0.75ohm coil made from 0.5mm kanthal...4mm i/d, it fits with room to spare so why not? I should have taken a picture when I wicked it, Scottish roll, teased it out into a huge dandelion kreed and cut it to shape when wet with just the bottom tips of the fluff in the juice wells. It took well over a ml to stick down and once in the tank and filled up I tentatively waited for a leak...nah! I made 60 ml of 80/20 T-juice Minty the Toff with Bavarian Cream at the weekend and last night the flavour fell totally flat with the quad coil. Too hot, too airy bit of a fail tbh. So with today off work and time to kill I started at 40w which gave a stupidly cloudy vape that I've never had with the subtank, 50w gave an eat your heart out Mutation vapour, 60w ( Velocity redundant now), 70w still pulling like a goodun but not really any warmer than a pair of big coils in a dripper. At 80w I opened the drip tip up, just far too much air and the flavour went again I so backed down to 40w and closed the base up a little. I've just done half a tank in 10 good pulls, its a damn good job there was only 1mg nic otherwise I'd be feeling decidedly ill instead of still chewing mint toffee and cream. The rda is definitely the pick of the bunch so far, I'm not sure if I'm going to need to work out how to fit a more complicated coil and I haven't even considered Ni200 yet. Twin coil base.....ummm maybe I'll order a couple later:D

The whole unit is bigger but this is the business end, feeding these will be the biggest problem. TFV4 RBA v Subtank RBA and Quad coil V OCC

Another thing to look out for.....the coil seal on the rba comes off very easily, this is the third time a seal has made its own way off. I rewicked after singing the cotton earlier and after priming left the tank for a while. I filled the tank, looked down to pick up the juice bottle lid and this was on the floor. Plus side. The top filler seal didn't leak whilst I was refitting the rba.

Too many good reviews to resist anymore. So ordered two plus a couple of twin coil decks.

My TFV4 arrived today, now, this is only the 4th tank I've tried (not bad for a month, though ) so I've less to compare it to than most of you regulars, I've only tried the RBA deck so far, with the pre-fitted coil (0.7), basic wicking, on my X Cube II (which I'm appreciating more and more) at 40w, and it's cloudy, flavoursome, I already LOVE this tank! It is mahoooosive though, but it makes the X Cube look smaller Definitely getting the minis when they come out, no question.

SteveF The triple coil is way better than the quad coil, the flavour on the triple is by far the best stock coil i've ever used. the quad coil is really just a parallel coil stack on top of another parallel while the triple is 3 separate coils in 3 separate chambers. It's a much denser wetter vape with the triple coil. It's the first of these clearo with a rebuildable option where i've thought the stock head was distinctly better than the RBA option, the single coil RBA anyway, the dual coil one is a lot better.

Bought a TFV4 at the last Prestleigh vape meet, both pre-made coils leak badly but the RBA doesn't, any ideas as to why. Dave

No everything seems to be in place car147, I'm wondering if the coils have hardened a bit as I primed them to try out but found I didn't have a device to fire them but the RBA did work somewhat so that was left in the tank with liquid, I've put the triple and quadruple in some PG to soak and try again when I come back from holiday. Thanks for the advice, denser and wetter, looks like I'll have to mix another 60ml before i get into those. I'm quite happy with the rba at the moment and will probably give the triple a go when I get round to changing out again. I've ordered a dual coil rba so I may not even tempt myself with the triple coils anyway. May well have 3 packs of quads for sale when it turns up.
