?? Have you found Ni200 vertical coils?? where?? got a linky??.. the ones under discussion in here are a nickel alloy with so far an unknown TCR Link belowI ordered these from FT, they turned out to be vertical coils (hadn't noticed on the photos), FT list then as 0.15ohm but they read 0.22ohm for me, the work very well but I've had to decrease my temp setting A LOT, also one of the coils had a rough thread (where it fits the chimney), they also have the blue o-rings Going by the size of your car in the background I can't see them fitting in a Subtank mini or Nano.

Thanks but I'm afraid that they are not the ones with the removable top spot section otherwise I would have rebuilt them several times by now.

Thanks but I'm afraid that they are not the ones with the removable top spot section otherwise I would have rebuilt them several times by now. I came across that type recently. Haven't worked out how to take them apart without damaging them yet, but they do come apart. The threaded bottom is press fitted. When I get more of them, I'm sure I'll find a way to rebuild. They must be rebuildable, as, like most stock coils, they were put together, so must come apart. It may need a special tool though, maybe a press.....

taking them apart isn't an issue, a hammer (light adjusting type)and a steel dowel to knock the bottom out, however refitting without damaging the coil....
