America spent millions developing pen to work in space. Russians took a pencil. We look at using old protanks and spool reelers etc. Russians use a PEG lmao

I tried making some today and failed,

Protank method works well. Although I used fingers to make mine and fused clapton last night. Sore fingers though. Skin needs to toughen up

You would be suprised. Only took me about 20 mins to make it. Although 1st attempt was too loose so had to make a 2nd one. Main reason to learn claptons was so I could make fused, staggered, stapled

May try again tomorrow, just at certain points it went loose

Happened to me often too. 1st attempt no matter what I kept getting loose spots. But I did 12 inches anyway to get a feel for it. Loose spots just put drill in reverse and undo the necessary area.
Found that for me once u got in a rhythm going fast was best for me. Also I used for finger and thumb to hold the wire and clapton wire to it and then held the reel on my pinky so it could free spin

I followed a video on YouTube the guy used a empty pen to hold wire, on phone so can't post video, I might try it at faster speed

I made some. Got it right second try (luck?...probably), but the ramp up and cool down time is ridiculous in a tank. Not tried in a dripper, but I imagine it is ideal for that purpose.

Not with Ni200 on a DNA, especially a DNA 200 you can throw 200 W at it until near temp, can't solve the cool down problem you need a can of liquid nitrogen for that.  Always been one of the best features of DNAs that most people seem to unaware of.

Never don onee, I have been almost completely using Ni200 for the last year, enjay is a much better person to ask.
