Has anyone ever worked out how much it costs them to make DIY juice per 10mls?
I'm certain it's cheaper than shop bought juice, just trying to convince the Mr that me buying a bulk load of concentrates, in flavours he likes is a good long term investment.

I worked my 6mg red astaire mix out at under £8 per 100ml if I remember rightly. So that's a big saving when it's around £15 per 30ml bottle when bought pre mixed.
Edit: Of course cost is going to depend on concentrates used. Red Astaire is going to be more expensive than a CCW apple concentrate for example and I buy pg and vg by the litre.

I made a cost calculator a while back based on lots of different stuff.......but here's the gist of it. Juice Cost 10ml | Bottle Cost | Label Cost | Total Juice cost | £0.53 | £0.34 | £0.06
| £0.93 |
|
|
|
| Juice Cost 30ml | Bottle Cost | Label Cost | Total Juice cost | £0.98 | £0.42 | £0.06
| £1.38 |

I use Liquix as my calculator, which also runs an inventory of my base liquids and concentrates, so as I make a juice it tells me the cost for whatever juice I make.
An of example (and these are using Cap, TPA and Solub Arome concentrates) and Nic PG and VG all pharmaceutical grade, and are purchased in bulk adding to the saving.
.*Please note, most of the concentrates were purchased either via group buy, or reduced in a sale.*
I am around £4 - £5 for a 100ml of say Kreeds Kustard
There is a colossal mark up on Eliquid, hence the "Premium" brands

I thought it'd probably cost about £1-£1.50 per 10ml depending on the cost of the base concentrates.
We are currently paying £4.50 per 10ml so it will represent a massive saving really.

I really have no words of wisdom - save the following - e liquid is like loo roll - you don't want to run out!!! I can do a calculation but I'll need time Jane PS. Just done my calculations - not 100% sure but think for 30ml of e-liquid (50/50 - 1.5mg/ml - 2% flavour from UK flavours) it costs £2.05 - though it could well be 10% of that - Jane PpS. what you also have to remember collie2011 and DH is that you have complete control over everything in your e-liquid if you make your own....this is one of the great pluses of vaping unlike healthcare nicotine

It's impossible to give a definitive cost for home brew, it depends on SO many factors, (% of concentrate, cost of concentrate, nic strength) But I've got all of my recipes in a spreadsheet that works it out for me, the cheapest is Chefs Vapour Clear Storm, purely because you need so little of the concentrate. Mixed at 5%, 60VG/40PG, 1.8mg it costs me £1.92 for 100ml
