Hi i know this not normally type of conversation but is anyone into the Quadcopter’s
Thinking of having a bash but i don’t really know what’s what.

I do have a cheapo one and i really do enjoy playing around with it, it's great fun.

I was reading up on them but was put off by the duration of the batteries.That's if I understood the bumf correctly

These fly for about 30 mins ish.

take a punt on a low $ nano job, i did, and slowly i think im getting the hang of it.. flights last 5 seconds now ....

there is a knack and learning it on a high $ copter may be a tad easier But a catastrophic crash could also be expensive... the nano copters are Very resiliant, mine has bounced off the ceiling walls me and the floor and im still on my first set of blades

by the time you can hover and navigate a cheapo nano copter a larger camera totting copter will be a breeze to pick up..

I haven't attached the camera just yet because of all bouncing around I've been doing, maybe next week lol

I've been looking at these for ages, and funnily enough I've been scouring through them again tonight, still cant decide though, I want one with a camera eventually but a cheapy to practice with will probab;y come first.

What one have you got piper1 ?

I've got this one which was recommend to me for a first timer, spare are plentiful and cheap.

I've even seen them at £32 free postage, not bad not all really

Thanks piper1 they do seem to be everywhere, haven't found them at £32 yet but still looking

You say you haven't tried the camera yet, I'm presuming you have no idea what you are photographing until you check the SD card in your PC?

Just wondering if isabel22 can supply a code for one of these they are on GearBests site
