I have NEVER bought more than one tank the same, through fear of missing out on something better.
This changed today, when I ordered my 2nd Aromamiser RDTA.
Hardly an expert in modern tanks, having tried probably 6 in the last few months, But I watched a review after picking up on a few peoples comments about it, then took the plunge and ordered one with the extra "velocity" deck. I Had my doubts with the idea of a rubber band to control airflow but found out later that I wouldnt be using it, 4 airholes over two coils just works really well for me.
I havent tried the stock deck with the 3 post design yet so hardly the best review, I decided on the "Velocity" deck as Its so easy to coil and works flawlessly. as per the Velocity RDA.
I suppose theve given it the name RDTA for marketing purposes as ultimately it is still an RTA, I like to think of it as a squonker without having to squonk. The flavour is without doubt the best Ive had from a device (given Ive only used half a dozen of the modern tanks)
Super easy to fill (with the bonus of not interupting your build) and super easy to rebuild without wasting liquid should you wish.
Its an excellent design with the system it uses to wick and vapes problem (dry wick) free without TC at 70 watts and very high VG juice. Nice splash proof drip tip too although I doubt that a splash could make it that far up a chimney.
Left the device on its side overnight and not a drop had escaped.
If you havent tried one Im confident you will love it, If you can get your head past the airflow control.
Ordered the 3ml version today for a tidier device and who knows the flavour could even improve with the drip tip being closer to the coil.
Great Device

I've got one but barely use it because the original deck is horrible to build on. I did like the vape though, once I manage to get some coils to work. Can I ask where you got the velocity style deck from please? I have heard of them but not found them in the UK.
Thanks - Bob

I have the 3ml version, nice tank. I do prefer it with two of the airflow holes blocked off though and just have the other two directly in front of the coils, in my experience the other two holes diminish the flavour. They do make for a cooler vape but it's also a less dense vapour you're just pulling in fresh air and diluting the vapor down. I would also prefer a flat top on the tank so i could use a different drip tip, it's almost impossible to find one that fits flush with that little stubby part the stock drip tip fits into. Design foibles aside it's very nice vape.

Agreed about the drip tip quibbles as I prefer a "non steel" drip tip, read elsewhere that a dibley stick type tip works well.

I have a V2 on the way. Any tips for wicking, coiling etc? Will have the velocity deck, which I have already had experience with, so I know what it can be built like. Just wanted to know what it can handle coil/wick wise.
For instance, quad coils, and can the airflow/juice feed cope. And which wicking method works best.
It's basically the same as the V1, so any answers are good.
TIA

I prefer vertical coil myself with the cotton barely touching the deck and it works a treat.

Cheers Jon, Strange that nothing came up when I searched though. Must of mis-spelt or something.

I have three Aromamizers. I love them (although been thinking of thinning them since I discovered mesh) - I upgraded them all to V2s.
I found better flavour from horizontal coils. It seemed that the heat from verticals accumulated upwards, and I'd get a slight burning at the top...

Worked out well in my clone.
