Riva Arrival (or questions Pt. 2)

I got the Riva 1100 kit, and it's lovely. I hadn't thought of a drip tip but one was included with compliments and is much better than the standard round thingy Thank you, Jason!

Q #1 - To fill the carto it took 2 half full (about) caps, is that right?

Q #2 - I know that it will be different for everyone, but is there a general rule to start with on when to top up the juice so that you don't get that burnt taste or run it dry. For me, and I may not have the best eyesight, it was hard to tell when I was filling it how damp it was until it was really too damp

Q #3 - Am I doing this right? ??? The button on the battery... click it 3 times for on/off, but when it is on and I'm ready to vape, what's the procedure (oh for heavens sake!! lol). Do I hold in the button for a second first before (and continue holding it in) I try ~or~ just press,hold and vape all at once? Hope that makes sense to someone else.

I am quite enjoying Flue Cured, very nice! For all who steered me towards the Riva (and Vape Escape) on the other thread, thanks so much!

Top up every so often (dependant on amount of vaping)

You can do both, pressing for a second first will heat the coil. OR you can press hold vape, both work, find what is best for YOU.

My thoughts shazza
Q1 That might be a bit much - just give it a bit of a blow with some tissue over the battery end to make sure the air hole is clear of juice
Q2 I would top it up every hour or two depending on how much you are vaping
Q3 Turn it on just before you stick it in your mouth (no more than a second). Long slow inhale. Hold in mouth for a second and then down the throat and out through mouth/ nose whatever you like!
Main point - relax and enjoy - you will soon find what suits you

Oh, and can I fill a couple of cartos ahead or will they dry out if not used...say within a day??

No sorry you have had it Just take it off blow through, wipe both carto and battery connections.

If you fill cartos ahead, just put the condoms back on and they will be fine.
