Yeah, definitely worth avoiding. Still finding my feet with coiling/wicking... rewicked my TFV4 RBA to try new Nom Nomz juice (nice!), fine at first, topped it up to the top, next time I vaped big flood from the airholes, damn, lovely new juice escaping! So cleaned it up, checked the wicks were how I thought I remembered they should be, reassembled and tried again, YOWCH!!! Turns out I didn't remember as well as I thought, hadn't used quite enough wick (at least I think that was the problem), rewicked again protruding into the juice channels just down to the threads and that seems to have sorted both problems. I've only got 3 rebuildable tanks, and I'm still managing to confuse myself Lesson learned, check until sure Still, I feel a certain vaping rite of passage...

God I've had so many now I've lost count, I remember a while back sitting in front of the laptop tooting away late at night without actually realising my fake Nautilus coil was dry hitting, I just though the new tobacco liquid I'd got tasted a little rough, wasn't until I decided to investigate that I realised the fake coil air holes were actually blocked off so the coil was as dry as my tumble dried washing

Dry hits before subtanks, a slightly horrible burnt taste.
Dry hits after subtanks. I feel like my lungs are about to fall out and my throat is disintegrating!
A few weeks back I switched from the dripper (twisted kanthal coil I usually run at 50w) to the lemo 2 (single 1.4ohm I usually run at 17w) and forget to turn the m80 down.
It really wasn't ver pleasant at all haha.

It's awful isn't it!
Like something died, crawled into your lungs and is trying to make you hack them up!

Hate dry hits! That's why I've gone over to temp control. I remember if you forgot to swish your vivi nova around after it had sat a while ............ Minging! Vaping has come such a long way in such a short time. I often think back to when I started with a green smoke cigalike, God that was awful, £70 quid an all! Bought it when I was working in New York in 2010 nearly ended my vaping career before it started! In fact it did, I didn't try again until 2012.

Yeah I'm thinking this is the hint for me to start getting my head round building temp control coils... something else to learn! I've for a Sigelei 75w TC and X Cube II so that's the mods sorted, don't the most user-friendly wire to go with though, any tips as to where's a good place to start considering I'm a beginner with coil building anyway??
