what size batches do you intend to mix? I tend to mix 30ml at a time so use 50ml brown glass bottles for mixing /steeping. and just decant into 10ml ex branded bottles as and when..
i got my bottles from ampulla.co.uk

Sure you are on top of it all with background reading etc, just in case tho If u buy Boots vg the bottles are perfect for mixing and steeping in .. you want a large headroom if you rely on shaking to mix and its a good idea to seal labels behind sellotape as juice drips will dilute ink and make it run..

I think i will start small. Mix 2 15 ml batches of banoffee at 10% conc and 12.5% same with lemonade amd Welsh custard. once I know what amount I like I will be looking to just mix a large volume so maybe 200 ml per time Maybe I could get away with an old 1 or 2 pint milk bottle And 4 pint for big batches

+1 for Boots Glycerin, the bottles are great to reuse, and at £1.29 to buy = absolute bargain.
I would not recycle plastic milk cartons, they may well start to leech into your juice.

I think i will start small. Mix 2 15 ml batches of banoffee at 10% conc and 12.5% same with lemonade amd Welsh custard. That's wise whilst you're getting a feel for the flavours, small volumes of anything . . . . though I would suggest Welsh Custard needs a higher percentage. Chefs themselves recommend 20%, I found 25% more to my own liking. There'll be nothing more disappointing than giving a 4 week steep to a Custard mix, only to find you can't taste very much custardy loveliness.
