Not for one minute saying that any particular vendor won't be getting these, but personally, with Joyetech clamping down so tightly, I would be looking for existing stock and not pre-orders.

Only get those batteries if you are planning to use at low-medium watts BrenD & Greigster they are OK 20A, but not not 3000 mAh when run at that level and will degrade fast if running the DNA at very high power.

They will be fine for that and probably well over 100 W, they are just 20 A batteries that are only around 2675 mAh at 15-20 A, but that is the max for them, ppl often push 25Rs and HE2s over 20 A, but these will suffer if you do that.

LG INR18650-HG2 20A 3000mAh Bench Test ResultsComments

- Capacity drops to 2800mAh at 2.80V for 5A and 10A.
- Capacity drops to roughly 2675mAh at 2.80V for 15A and 20A.
- Six cycles at 20A showed no loss of performance, indicating that the cell wasn't being badly overstressed. Discharge #6 had a slightly lower voltage under load but greater capacity. A 10A discharge done after this showed no loss in capacity.
- Four cycles at 25A did not show a visible loss in performance but the overall voltage drop was significant and the cell got too hot to recommend a CDR higher than 20A.
- A 10A discharge done after this though showed a 3% loss in capacity at 10A. Not much on its own but it does indicate that slow damage is being done at 25A.

Also you can't really compare the Watt hours with LiPos, the round batteries have better capacity, but the voltage sag means that you can't use as much of it as you can with LiPos, but since you will have 3 round batteries you will get a long runtime, just not as ling as you may expect from the maths.  Watt-Hour Shootout -- FullyMax 10Wh 900mAh 3S LiPo (for DNA200) vs 25R vs HG2
