Topping up cartomisers

I just wanted to check that I am doing this right. For the initial fill I am using the condom method and then every couple of hours I am taking the drip tip off and dripping a couple of drops around the edge, onto the cotton wool type stuff (technical term that!! Lol)
Is that the right way to do it? Also, I've been using the same riva battery since yesterday morning, should I swap them now and charge this one? I don't know if it needs charging or not

Spot on Bee with your carto's . . . I'd put your battery onto charge now, but that means having it charging overnight.

Personally I try and be around/awake when I've batteries on charge, not everyone bothers though . . . your ecig will just stop working when it's run out of charge, they don't have memory's either, so you don't have to wait until they're entirely dead.

If your battery is still working, fine.......... it will probably die soon, up to you whether you want to change it before it completely dies or not.

It sounds like you have the hang of cartos. They need to be kept wet. after topping up, you can blow through them onto a tissue to make sure you get rid of any excess juice.

This little widget thing is really handy tho for topping up as you can poke it right into the wadding

It depends on how much your vaping but never let it get dry or you will get a burning taste. Sounds like your doing great Bee, and alot of it is trial and error but you will get there. Your battery will just stop working when it needs charging But if you feel your not getting enough power from it use a new one and put it on charge.

Yes, you're filling it right beeratz. You'll know when the battery 'goes' as the light will flash. You don't have to wait until it's run right down though, it can be charged at any time.

As Perpy says, the batteries don't have any memory, so no need to fully discharge them before recharging

Thanks, I'll definitely be ordering a few of those!!
I've swapped the batteries over and put the other on charge, I'll be up for a few hours yet so I can keep an eye on the one that's on charge.

I fill cartos by the condom method too. However, I find I need to top up quite regularly. Maybe I'm not allowing the juice to soak in when I intially fill the carto?

Now I'm considering getting those tank thingys that take boga cartos. Just haven't got a clue about them lol.

I have a great home made tank (from a member on here) which takes boges, they need to have a hole in them though. I really like it but I often change flavour up to 3 times a day and I would feel a bit odd out and about with it, so often just end up going back to simple boges. I didn't really get on with the startdust or echomisers that I bought. It's very easy to think you need something when what you have is really working fine for you.

It really is handy though for those times, such as first thing in the morning, when you just want to pick something up and vape without having to check if your carto is wet enough.

There are some tanks on the HC site, why don't you try one out in the GB?
