Well nearly, that's what I was told before it reached the final delivery depot. After it reached the FDD and I rang to pay they then told me I couldn't pay over the phone until it's out for delivery If nothing else I am persistent so I'll be ringing to pay in the morning if it moves to out for delivery but if no joy then it'll be cash on delivery. seems strange you can't pay at any point as soon as they know what's due How bizarre. My only experience of Courier type deliveries when there's excess to pay has been with DHL, back in the days of our group buys with Macca, well efficient they were as car147 says. I guess they all operate different systems - some better than others. I'm sure you'll have it in your mitts by the weekend though Greg, one way or the other. So to close out, parcel moved to out for delivery at 06:15 this morning, rang UPS at 8 and paid duty over the phone and they gave me a code. pinged the code to my wife, driver turns up asking for cash and COD all over package. My wife tells him it's paid and gives him the code. He rings his boss as he thinks it's a scam, boss confirms its paid, ive never seen that before he said. Well you've never delivered to my house before mate still think it's a poor way to only allow payment ahead of delivery after its out for delivery
