Chrissie... sheesh, that is soooo true, and reminds me of my cat sitting duties for the family... I'll not sleep tonight! Although, as I'm also now dog sitting it can be even worse. But can't you tell the dogs "NO" Raffles? Cats don't tend to understand the word "No" Plus they can't pronounce the letter N - as in Meow, really means Me Now

Hate this time of year, clocks back, dark evenings etc roll on spring. Likewise wil7985 . . . . although I'm not a fan of dark mornings either, walking the dog at 5.30am some days has been rather miserable. I've yet to explain to her we have a lie in tomorrow.

Don't mind the mornings Perpetua like to get out before daylight, not a sole about only me and my dog she sets me up for the day ahead. (I know it sounds a bit weird, but we have a fair old chat in the mornings). If people could hear me they'd swear I was mad

Infact it gets me off on the wrong foot for the day if we come across other people ( don't mind their doggies! ) on our morning walk - can't be doing with making polite conversation so early.

Being clever! I thought I'd put all the clocks back early in case I forgot! Normally I'm never in bed before 2am, finished re-wicking some coils and faffing about, made a cup of tea and had a little chill out, flipped through 2 million channels to see what was on the box, it was so bad I even looked at the shopping channels then remembered I'd downloaded a film, 2.5hours long, nice! watch this and bed around 2.30am, Yup! forgot I'd put the clocks back early, by the time I realised it was too late and I got to bed at 3.30am, what made it even worse is Judi gets up between 6 and 6.30 am every day, and what does she do? Yup! wakes me up at 6.30 to ask me if I'd put the clocks back, and being daylight now I couldn't get back to sleep,

Autumn is like a second spring here, it's so dry through the summer it all looks burnt and brown. Now we've had a bit of rain, it's all turned green again, the flowers are out again, lovely Hehe same here reefcat - we've had a fair bit of rain these past few days, in amongst the sunshine & some lovely rainbows have sprung up. One minute we have fantastic blue skies with not a cloud in sight, then all of a sudden a few clouds materialise and a downpour of that lovely wet stuff we haven't seen for months on end goes pitter patter pitter patter on my terrace, what is that noise I say to my other half, oh yeah tis that stuff we don't see too often falling out of the sky Mind you tis still bloomin hot here. It was 32 degrees in the shade on my terrace during a rain shower this afternoon. Had to dash out and bring my washing in, not used to that Only in the tropics not lovely here

Don't forget we gain an extra scrumptious hour tonight as the clocks go back . . . . to spend sleeping, eating, drinking, shopping - whatever our pleasure happens to be. I shall enjoy mine. Thanks Perpetua. Just seen your post and changed clocks ... better late than never. Getting too slow now, lol. Thanks for reminder.
