So I've been using my new aspire pegasus for the last couple of days. First thing to note is that when I got it, the 510 connector wasn't as flush as it should be (I thought the pin on my subtank was bent but no, it was the connector) but ya know, you don't see it so I felt I could deal with it. But I've noticed that even on a fresh set of batteries, at the same wattage the pegasus doesn't seem to cook as much whilst my subtank does and kinda a lot hotter vaper is produced. At first i thought the build on my sapor was funky (as it is my first build but using pre-made clapton, installed duel, rating at .2ohms) and unfortunately I can't test that on the subox mini I have. But when I use that, even at 65 watts, there is quite the ramp but thought maybe that's the nature of the beast. Any ideas?

Ive got a stack of variable mods, vape the same build in all tanks from rtas to rdas and there all different with regards to wattage setting to get either the same vape or voltage out put.

They shouldn't vary, but they often do, it is a combination of inaccuracy in the devices and manufactures claiming to be able to reach power levels they just can't and that is getting worse with more mods trying to get 70+ W out of an 18650, only the best can actually do it if they have very good batteries. Also performance drops and the battery drops on some, again it shouldn't but it does. With VV and VW you can just adjust to taste so it is a PITA rather than a show stopper and lots of people just take it for granted so manufactures and vendors don't do anything about it.

I have a lot of mods in all price ranges. They more or less all put out a different wattage to what is on the display, sometimes there is a bigger difference. It`s probably best to suck it and see for taste etc. That`s my method and I always do it with the VW setting

Just a note but the Subox is only rated to fire down to 0.3ohms, the fact it's firing and not giving a low resistance warning suggests to me it's reading the resistance a little higher than Pegasus is. That alone can explain a difference in power delivery as the chips calculate how much power to deliver based upon the resistance reading.

No no, the sapor with the .2 load won't fire hehe I tried my subtank which has a .5 build on it on both

I had the same with my evic mini and a dual 26g parallel, I put the wrong rda on it and thought wth. It was running nicely on a 150w sigelei at 65w but the evic battery meter dropped like a stone. Chalk one up to experience. The full 75w is only of any use in tc mode because it pulses the power. Same can be done with larger coils, just pulse the coil up to working temp and have a spare battery ready.

Ok so update...it seems to now work kinda had on the subtank mini in comparison. I think I'll just put it to a poor coil in the sapor...which is annoying cuz it was a prebuilt set of coils haha.
