My istick 50 has just decided it won't charge. When the USB is in the the battery logo flashes 5 little boxes, but never actually charges.
Any thoughts
Nick

might be a EOL end of life battery. the five boxes means its charging but not holding its charge. turn it on and see if it makes any difference charging. can take a good couple of hours to fully charge.

Thanks - it is only 5 months old, but is used on a daily basis. This morning it was fine and then it just went. Nick

my button doesnt click anymore and so far out off all the isticks the 50 has been the worst for issues reported.
ive always preferred fixed batteries but since buying the 100 watt its a better idea as at least they can be replaced.

Sounds par for the course. I've had two istick50s: one lasted about three months, one lasted less than a month. I've sent the latter back, but I fear they'll send me another.

I was thunking about buying the version with the replaceable batteries (100W), however with al the problems of the 20w and now my experience with the 50 I think I will go in a different direction Nick

This is either showing faith in replaceable batteries or deeply stupid.

Well I need to think carefully about a replacement - my only mods now are an ageing MVP and a Smok M65 - the one where you have to scrape out the screws holes and I have to be careful about what I buy, I though I would get a year out of the eleaf 50W ![thinkingsmiley](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/SM_Urt6gu_NO9OI9lTBO.gif) Thanks all Nick

I regard esticks as disposable, cheap if you buy them in china, my first lasted amazingly 10 months until i stupidly misthreaded it, the second one day to realise it did not hold charge (to late to return). They were 20's so i bought a 40 and have had issues, but FT have kindly offered to replace, so in the meantime needed another mod, so I ordered a 30.
Some people never learn lol.
But for £15-19 they are disposable, cigalike cost you more in my local Sainsburys
MP
PS just to add, thinking back old days, 2 packs of embassy would now cost price of istick and last 2 days if lucky !!!!
