No, nor do I mind if you read the book and thwack yourself severely on the buttock.

Looks like a great recipe - I shall add it to my to-do list. However, like dagl , I saw the thread title, except I was reminded of the above and this amazing Dunlop advert: (consider this thread temporarily derailed - sorry)

Like the advertisement tomj777 Very classy, I don't remember it though, having said that, I tend to remember very little, and switch off completely at the ad breaks..

In fairness, dagl , it was from 22 years ago... OliverB - thank you - I now know of the author Leopold von Sacher-Masoch , who leant his name to something I still don't get.

Thank you for sharing all your recipes OliverB - I'll get them added tomorrow to our collections. A couple might prove a challenge finding pictures. I get all the abbreviations except one, probably having an obtuse moment - it's the SA(?) Biscuit I'm unsure about . . . . .

Yes, an odd bloke, Leopold, to say the least. An all-round good egg, philanthropist and, unusual for the aristocracy in nineteenth century Eastern Europe, a fervent supporter of women's rights, including their right to wear furs and soundly thrash him with sticks, paddles and whips. Mad as a jelly trombone, of course, and died in an asylum.

Ah of course, thank you OliverB. Capella's Sugar Cookie would probably be a good alternative as you say.
