Welcome to the forum, and well done on making the move to vaping. That set up there is pretty advanced, straight into temp control mods and sub-ohming. Honestly I would take the advice of others here and go for a solid mid-range set up that is easy to use and will get you off the fags. Try it for a while and get used to vaping, it is different. You don't want to be fiddling around with all the variables that will face you using sub-ohm tanks, RBAs, temp controlled coils mixed with kanthal coils etc. I you like vaping and understand what you like go for your life, and come back here for as much help as you need. If you do go for the above set up you will need some temp-controlled coils. BTW I grew up in Kenley - long time ago. Nick PS I hated Dekang liquid, it almost put me off vaping, be prepared to try some different brands if they don't suit you. Too late now I've ordered already, my mates going to come round and show me how it all works etc but thanks for all the welcoming messages and advice I'll let you know how I get on.

The Kanger Subtank will work just as well with 'normal' Kanthal OCC coil heads Courier131, so don't panic on that score. Temperature Control (TC) is something you can get into at a later date if you want to, but that kit will deliver a good solid vape for you as you make the transition from tobacco to vaping. Do keep us posted on your progress, and remember to ask if you have a question!

harsh? perhaps the juice has too much PG for you some folk are sensitive to PG ??
i dont own a ipv-d2 but it has a feature best described by this chap
SO if your using a sub ohm coil and trying to fire at low power its not gonna work the way you expect ;(

I'd suggest the istick 30watt but I'd go with the ICLEAR 30s tank. Very good and one still in my vape rotation. IMHO more flavour than the very good mini nautilus and again just IMO a better vape. Good luck and welcome Good shout on the iclear 30s. A really good starter tank, easy to use, easy to fill, decent coils that are easy to replace. I gave one away with a full pack of coils to a new vaper a couple of weeks back, and she loves it, finding it preferable to either the nautilus mini or the protank.

Welcome....and congratulations on deciding to give up the stinkies !! One piece of advice I would give, is read through as many back threads on here as you can. The advice from these guys is endless, and spot on. We all started where you are, so don't ever be afraid to ask any questions..... no question is stupid or silly. P.S........ don't give up, giving up....

Hi All
So Ive received my setup but am finding it a bit harsh, Ive turned it down to the lowest on 7w but could it just be a rubbish juice? Might I suggest trying a jiuce with a lower nicotine content. I found that when I moved from the Ego to a subtank mini, I had to reduce the nicotine content from 18mg to 12mg or less, as I found the higher nicotine stremgth too harsh. When I started dripping, it went down to a maximum of 6mg, anything higher feels like my throat's being ripped out!

Hi All
So Ive received my setup but am finding it a bit harsh, Ive turned it down to the lowest on 7w but could it just be a rubbish juice? If you're using a subohm setup . . . . then for a smooth, non harsh vape you'll need an eliquid with a high(ish ) VG content and lower strength than you'd possibly expect to use Courier131. What did you buy? I'd doubt that what you have is rubbish, just not necessarily suitable for the equipment you are using. Welcome to you maltipom.
