Thinking of giving NiFe30 wire a try on the DNA200, I notice there's already a cvs file in the wire wizard on Steam Engine, but just wondering has anyone else tried it?
It does seem to be getting quite a few positive remarks, and on paper looks a better option than Ni200.
Thoughts?

Not tried it yet, but looks interesting www.stealthvape.co.uk/wire/NiFe30-wire"Regarding dry burning NiFe wire. It's mentioned on some sites that it's ok to dry burn this material and while it's clear that NiFe doesn't react to dry burning like Ni200 and Titanium we're cautious to recommend this at present." - Stealthvape quote

Aye, I noticed the advice on their site. A friend got some a week or so ago and reckons it's far better than NI, just wondered what others thoughts were on it. Cheers robby

Hiya car147, haven't tried it, but fancy giving it a go myself, there's quite a lot of talk about it on the POTV forums, folk over there REALLY rate this stuff. I haven't seen anything about potential drawbacks, as robby quoted above probably best to avoid dry burning to be on the safe side, other than that it would need a wiser, more experienced mind than mine to know the pros and cons...

Finally did a quick single coil build on a Subtank RBA deck, 8ish wraps of 28awg came out at .33ohm. Downloaded the cvs file from the wire wizard and created a new profile in Escribe for the Hcigar VT200. and???? I like it, i don't know how to describe it other than kanthal like, but with the added bonus of temp control. If further builds continue to be as good i think i will be switching to NiFe30 wire for good. You don't seem to get the rasping chopping of power (maybe more to do with the DNA200), or i got lucky, and its a very smooth warm vape, totally different to the cooler vape of ni200
Ps i did not dry burn the wire, as was not to keen on the idea, I did not find the wire easier to build with as others have reported, and thought it felt very similar to tempered Ni200, i also stuck with the spaced coils, instead of a micro coil.

Sounds good. I do fancy giving this a try, but trying to resist buying a DNA device, I've bought 4 mods since starting vaping 10 weeks ago, Mrs TallPaul might start asking questions if another one turns up

I have used spaced coils on all the builds , to be honest I have not tried micro coils as I just treated the wire the same as a Ni200 keeping them spaced.

Hmmm it is interesting just be good if it was considered safe to dry burn tbh but I'm pretty sure with even kanthal it's safer not to. I don't want to be changing coils every time I rewick really It doesn't seem to be very popular either and I'm thinking the dry burn issue might be why. Does anyone use this all the time?

TCR value is 0.00500 or for mods that do 0-999 it is 500, I have it in a Aromamizer single coil 0.06ohms 430F @ 60w on top of my VB-ERM at the moment, and it hits like a trooper VapingBad
