Welcome to AAEC My mum started using the vape pens about 2 years ago and she is using the Cirro 2 (I think that's right) and it seems as though she never has problems and is getting on really well. Is this a good make or are there better ones? The thing I like about the one she has is that any other accessories from other pens seem to fit it, making the clearomisers (I hope I got that right), batteries etc easier to buy when she needs them. I would appreciate any explanations or advice you could offer me. Thank you Cirro 2 is a 10 Motives product, when they branched out from just disastrous cig-a-like products to the EGO style refillable. They are OK, but the price certainly isn't. "Proper" e-cigs (and Cirro is a proper EGO) use standard fit other products. They make their money by charging £4.99 for a disposable tank and you might need 50 a year. Most of us use tanks with replaceable coils (or a hand-built option) and they are a couple of quid. That's already a stack of money saved. Cirro liquid (last time I bought it) was about £4. You can buy for half that or double that I guess. I pay about £2-£3 average with my daily flavour only 90p for 10ml. 10 cigs isn't a lot, but the addiction is still there and a quality product should cost you less in the long run. For me, the iStick range and either mini Nautilus or Kanger subtank Nano tanks are what I use most of the time.

Hi startats101 and to the forum. I can't add to the advice already given, but will iterate something. If you have a question, however silly it seems, please ask. We all started where you are. We all knew nothing too. We remember that, and are more than welcome to help you, or anyone who wants to know what to do and how to do it. It's not straightforward at first, because it is very different to smoking. One thing I will say is that, once you start vaping, you will need to drink a lot more fluids. The e-juice dries your mouth and throat. I hope you have success.

Hello and welcome to the club! I was in the exact same shoes... now some time ago.. and I know the feeling! There are quite a few things you need to know and keep in mind when vaping, some of which are not discussed that often, but if you're looking for a complete guide not only novices but also some more experienced vapers may find useful, then see this page here: ecigsuk.org.uk/guide-to-safe-vaping/As for Cirro 2, nothing wrong with it but there are also some better options out there at the moment so do a bit more research before shopping for your first e-cig.
