I have a P3, bought soon as it came out and loved it for the well-earned Provari build quality. Agree 100% about the menu faff though. Shortly after I fell in love with DNA40. And it's the only tube mod I consider reaching for, now and again. Bloody provari fanboy

On a standard single coil kanthal build I vape well within its power range but I do like to take a trip into the multiple coil silly ohms and crazy power room in the evenings - but temperature controlled Yes - you know I'm not knocking you really - but, TC simply doesn't apply or isn't required by the majority. I've been vaping for 5 years now and I can count the number of dry hits on one hand - and I'm pretty sure every one of those will have been a carto, rather than a tank - simply because I couldn't see the liquid. I suppose the point I was making is that Provape are catering for the majority rather than the minority - which is the way they stay in business. Have to agree. Have had 3 temp mods and have 2 here now for review and never use them in temp mode. A proper kanthal build in a kayfun at 13 watts gives me eveything i need and my drippers are coiled to my liking with big watts. None of this temp malarky.

But surely at that price range they would make a mod that was capable of everything Provape have stated they won't implement TC until it works correctly. And by that I assume they mean it's not a faff as many of have experienced with with poor connections etc. as Jason said Provape aim to cater for the majority and want their devices to just work every time and in my experience they do a pretty good job of delivering that. Plus you will have a mod that will out last nearly all others.

I don't think anybody has mentioned Provapes main aim yet either - Safety I've not hesitated to fix my family and friends up with Provari's over the years (at a cost of course ), for that specific reason.

Safety? Maybe in a world of mechs and combusting cigalikes American safety is not getting sued when some dumb ass wires his mod into the mains because the charger is too far from the couch.

The chipset is wonderful, they have designed user error out of the equation, Provari make a safe almost idiot proof regulated 20w vv/vw device, now they make a safe almost idiot proof 40w device. I would suppose short of buying extension sections and stacking 18650s in a provari tube mod (which if it didn't fry the board would store up to 5 error codes and flash its firing button in several colours) possibly the most permanent damage that you could do with it; is use it to batter someones head in. Of course the mod would survive virtually unscathed. my misguided and laughable opinion is that when an American company touts its product on being 'the safest' (compared to 50 cent Chinese devices that cause media sensations when they catch fire after being left on charge overnight) is scare mongering and covering its ass from the American obsession of sueing for millions. After all E-cigarettes are dangerous?
